The car is great, I can’t believe how fast it is (fasted car I’ve owned to date is a 1.8 mondeo!), but there are a few nigly (or maybe not so nigly) issues that I’m not happy about that I could do with some advice/opinions on. Well i decided after my springs had been fitted for a couple of months that i would fit all my adjustable stuff and get it all set up correctly :D So yesterday i spent the day at my friends garage fitting my powertrix front upper arms, tension rods, rear caster arms and the rear camber arms (i think thats what they're called, lol). Anyway my friend has been a mechanic for 50 years and it shows, he had it done in no time even with me slowing him down, LOL. Anyway today i googled 4-Wheel laser alignment and found a garage in Bootle about 40 mins away from me. Anyone had windscreen changed on thier z and found the new one was the wrong size? Glass man just spoken to says that 9 times out of 10 different tints are different sizes slightly and can change from year to year. Now I dont think the z32 body changed at all but could be wrong. Anyone ever had autoglass etc bring them a z32 (not z31 or z33 durr) screen and it be slightly wrong?

Can you all guess what im saying??? Thats right, Today Phil is planning to start the engine providing all goes well. I spoke to him today and he started telling me where he's at (ran off a huge list of what was done lol) and all I can say is wow:shock: The guys seems to work so dam hard:bow:, He set aside this week to start working hard on the car. Getting Excited now:hyper: Just got to hope all continues to go well really and then hopefully it'll get done this week.:D:nana2: Anyway, just thought i'd share:smash:

Ok it has now come to the time that I really need to replace the tubs. I have someone in mind to do the work, because I have lack of time and space. The question is what tubs to fit and where to purchase from, any comments would be welcome. Allan

hi people i have an aftermarket steering wheel with no controls on the steering wheel. i have stumbling/hesitation issues at the moment, and was wondering.... i have re-routed the horn wires to a seperate button on the dash, which works o.k., while doing this i cut some of the wires, am guessing they were cruise control etc. which i thought were the horn wires, but were not, and did not reconnect them. would this affect the running of the car... i.e. resulting in stumbling/hesitation? cheers, al.

hi all just wonderin if anyone can help me on this one? i have read on here that people are boosting averagely 14 psi is that on stock tubs? i have an original boost gauge and it goes up to 7 yet the needle only ever reaches 4? im no mechanic, if anybody knows why this could be could you explain in laymans terms please. thankyou:confused::confused:

Was any members in port talbot today? I saw a very smart yellow zed pass my home ( would have seen our baby outside) it had black,n, chrome alloys & ferrari style rear lights, very very nice zed:shock: first one ive seen down gere for ages:)

I have started stripping my car, it is quite interesting, but not having a huge amount of knowledge about zeds I have come across a few parts which I am unsure what they are. I have attached pics of two boxs that were behind the rear qtr panels, also what are the three rads infront of the engine for? The one nearest the engine is the normal radiator, but then there is a smiliar sized one infront of that and then a smaller one infront at the front of the car, I presume the front small one is the oil cooler? but what is the middle rad? Can anyone help identify them for me?

Hello. Do any of use have atmospheric "swoosh" dump valves in a twin turbo around a 1993 model? I am looking to install some atmospheric ones to my car but i am not to sure what ones to get, there is RS ones from the USA, but then there is also the DV26 Bailey dump valves, i am not sure what ones to get and was wondering if any of you lads and ladies have any good suggestions and price they should cost?
