Hi, I removed the undertrays a number of years ago due to the usual issue of them loosening off and dragging - drove me mad squeezing under it on the side of the motorway trying to resecure them. Anyway now I'm thinking did they actually serve an aerodynamic purpose? If so at would speed would they have an effect?? Every so often on my driveway of course the car will sit at 120/130 and feels pretty planted. Or do they act purely to stop dirt/debris covering the underside of the engine? I'm curious about this and wonder how many of you guys run without the undertrays? Cheers Thomas

  7. Hello! Anyone that know how to replace broken studs, for rear outboard exhaust hanger brackets? I guess they are welded and will need to be drilled out, but appreciate comments? Two round flat headed studs, seated both sides of trunk.

If all goes well at the start of the year with plenty of over time my other half has said if we go on a plane to a hot sunny place for a holiday that's all she wants this year and as the house it all up together I'm thinking of changing a few things on the 300 ,as i'm in the 7th year on this one I'm thinking its worth keeping but would like to make it stand out I'm looking at changing the wheels and maybe adding skirts and spoiler. I do like the winfactory spoiler but not sure with the uk bumper ? I welcome every ones opinion and even if you can still buy it ,plus thinking of moving on the set of alloys I have on there at the mo so if I could sell them on to fund the o…

Hi guys, Currently running n/a brakes and it seems it's getting harder to find good value brake discs anywhere? Albeit not loads of performance difference, what's needed for a TT brake conversion. Similar performance I know but parts much easier to find

So...I know I said I wasn't changing anything on this zed but I'm thinking of changing the alloys. Thinking of putting something on with more open area, and cleaner looking if you know what I mean, maybe alloys like in the picture, and what size do you think I could get away with? Width and dia 17/18 maybe 19's? And what colour, stick with silver or something to break the silver up?

know this is a long shot knowing what zeds are like but for the past week my tt zed has begun to misbehave. idle some times erratic and hunting. sometimes idels is fine but not for long and has an obvious miss at about 2000rpm both stationary and moving. spent most of my day at work tinkering, found some leaks on the inlet piping and lots of corrosion on connectors but with lots of cleaning they all seem good. Car always starts like normal and idles fine when cold. but first 2-3 minuets of driving is not good at all. hesitates and horrific flat spot but when hot anything over 2200ish rpm car feels great. just wanted to ask if anyone would have thought on a suspect ar…

Anyone up for a track day? April time probably. Probably a morning or afternoon only to reduce costs. Open to suggestions, I was looking at a session at Abingdon Airfield just off the A34. Thruxton would be ideal for me but they don't do many car track days.

Hi folks. The display on the HVAC does not work, the buttons light up and everything seems to function correctly but the temperature number are not present. I have replaced it with another unit but still no numbers. Anyone had this problem? Many thanks in advance.

  24. Started by Stephen,

Where has it gone? The parts market I mean. In times gone by there were parts a plenty on here and eBay. I'm not just talking about rusty parts off breakers but good parts too. Obviously numbers are dwindling but the numbers of parts for sale are nothing like what they were. Obviously this club should be the go to place to find second hand parts. Thoughts?

Yesterday started the z to do oil change. Strong smell of petrol! Switch engine off & look under bonnet & underneath. Spots of petrol on floor! Up on ramps, could not locat anything. Car running for 20 mins nothing! Did oil change & wait till today to start z cold again. 10am started z still on ramps no drips on floor. Further inspection under bonnet I a petrol leak on a small rubber pipe by injector 4! The clamp screw was loose so tightened up & fixed:biggrin:
