Hi guys, Currently running n/a brakes and it seems it's getting harder to find good value brake discs anywhere? Albeit not loads of performance difference, what's needed for a TT brake conversion. Similar performance I know but parts much easier to find

So...I know I said I wasn't changing anything on this zed but I'm thinking of changing the alloys. Thinking of putting something on with more open area, and cleaner looking if you know what I mean, maybe alloys like in the picture, and what size do you think I could get away with? Width and dia 17/18 maybe 19's? And what colour, stick with silver or something to break the silver up?

know this is a long shot knowing what zeds are like but for the past week my tt zed has begun to misbehave. idle some times erratic and hunting. sometimes idels is fine but not for long and has an obvious miss at about 2000rpm both stationary and moving. spent most of my day at work tinkering, found some leaks on the inlet piping and lots of corrosion on connectors but with lots of cleaning they all seem good. Car always starts like normal and idles fine when cold. but first 2-3 minuets of driving is not good at all. hesitates and horrific flat spot but when hot anything over 2200ish rpm car feels great. just wanted to ask if anyone would have thought on a suspect ar…

Anyone up for a track day? April time probably. Probably a morning or afternoon only to reduce costs. Open to suggestions, I was looking at a session at Abingdon Airfield just off the A34. Thruxton would be ideal for me but they don't do many car track days.

Just leaving the B&Q car park at Fleets Corner in Poole on Saturday (in the mighty Rover not the Z) after an unsuccessful visit when there parked miles away from anyone is a very nice looking M Reg TT in white. Clean and tidy looking motor it was too. Not seen it kicking around before, anyone on here? Nick

Hi folks. The display on the HVAC does not work, the buttons light up and everything seems to function correctly but the temperature number are not present. I have replaced it with another unit but still no numbers. Anyone had this problem? Many thanks in advance.

Where has it gone? The parts market I mean. In times gone by there were parts a plenty on here and eBay. I'm not just talking about rusty parts off breakers but good parts too. Obviously numbers are dwindling but the numbers of parts for sale are nothing like what they were. Obviously this club should be the go to place to find second hand parts. Thoughts?

Further inspection under bonnet I a petrol leak on a small rubber pipe by injector 4! The clamp screw was loose so tightened up & fixed:biggrin:

Mine is a SWB but we all have what i am going on to describe, so first of all in a shorty then the fuel pump assy is behind the seats..... I know in a LWB there is just one assembly, which is like the one we SWB owners have in the l/h chamber, strangely though we have another and it's just a gauge read float thing so no pump and no low fuel sender on this r/h one but all this is present on the l/h one........go figure i know. Pic below shows the two SWB assemblies. Clearly you can see there are two of each type because i acquired a 'set' from a Jspec series 1 1989 car and apart from a slight brown colour difference, they are no different to my series …

Hello all! My first post here, and I'm hoping somebody might be able to help me out with sourcing a Z32 300ZX for a magazine feature. What I'm after is a standard (or at least standard-ish...) twin-turbo model, preferably a UK car although that's not a deal-breaker. It's for a twin-test in a reputable big-budget national mag alongside another Japanese car of the same period. Cryptic enough for you?! Here's where it gets even more fun... you and your car will ideally be based in London/Surrey-ish, or at least able to happily travel there for the shoot (travel costs can be expensed within reason), with the car in tip-top condition and ready to be driven/shot …

I had an LED conversion done on my rear lights many years ago by one of the then members on here that subsequently disappeared leaving some unhappy customers, me being one of them. My driver side rear light is full of water and I wondered if there are any current members who are good at LED lights or do these conversions now and who can look at this for me? Otherwise I will need to look at sourcing some new rear lights.

Hi all, I've not been on the forum for quite a long time and the Z has been just sitting for a few years. A full house renovation and 2 kids later I am going to now get the Z back on the road. Having sat for so long the tyres will all be knackered so I want to get a new set of alloys which will also do away with the current 60mm spacers on the rear. The car has a wide arch kit. I have seen some sets of Work equips with the following sizes/offsets but I need some help in understanding if they will let me do away with the spacers and fit ok? Rears 12x18" offset +22. Or 10x18" offset -33 Fronts 9x18" offset +22 or +35 Or 9.5x18" offset +27 …

I'm still in my research stage for getting a 300zx. What I was wondering was if there are any specialist garages in the East anglia area that people are aware of. So far it seems lacking from what I can find.

Was wondering if there was any resolution to the zed that was on here last year newly imported and had the VIN number crudely cut out ? seem to remember it went on a bit and many were suggesting the seller had a role to play in helping out. Now it may well be all was resolved and to a good outcome (?) and lets hope so for all parties, however do not remember seeing anything to suggest that, any links would be appreciated sure other members have wondered too. I'm not sure if this is the correct place to start a build/project thread so let me know if I need to move it elsewhere. On the 3rd of December I picked up a really nice fresh import from the lovely people at Torque GT in Devon. If anyone is looking to import a car I'd highly recommend them but that's another discussion. I got a toy 300ZX when I was 4 and since then I've always wanted one. Getting a PS1 with Gran Turismo only made the obsession worse so for the past few years it's always been in the back of my mind to get one but I wanted to go all out and get the best one I could afford. Zelda is completely rot free, literally not a bit. I think she must have …

Hello all I'm back after a period of briefly lurking around reading the odd post. Im currently stuck with a dilemma about what to do with my Z. it's a Tommy Kaira Special and has been parked up for the past three years after I moved house. I have now moved to the Isle of Man and am considering whether I should get it running and sell it on (to invest in a 370z) or bring it over here with me. From this location it will be tricky to do all the bits needed (seals, repair bumper crack, fluids, tyres etc) without flying back regularly to supervise. i'm not sure how much these would go for now and I would have to factor in the cost of leaving i…
