    Hi All, I've got a 1990 2+2 N/A Z32 that has had a major water leak at the rear of the engine. I've managed to remove the heater return pipe at the rear of the engine on the drivers side and it has a hole in one of the smaller stems coming off the main pipe due to rust. Part catalogue shows it as 14053-40P01 but I can't find any like for like replacement, at least not an N/A pipe. Has anyone replaced one of these before and knows where I can source one from? I would try filling the hole but seeing as its already rusting out, I'd prefer to get a new one. Also getting it out has been a hassle so if I could replace it with a new part and forget about it, that would…

    Hi all, Very new here but purchased a UK 300ZX TT back in February and been having some bits done to it over more recent months. Quick question: Is there anything in particular that would cause cloudy / black fuel before it hits the filter? Post-filter; it's cleaner but not clean. A new fuel filter has been installed. I very much welcome your suggestions. Thanks!

    Hi everyone, I've hit a bit of a wall with my 300 and it's auto box. It won't shift up into 3rd when driving, 1st/2nd/reverse all work fine. I've had it a gearbox repair place and they couldn't do anything with it as non of their plug in machines could read it and the same with an auto electrician that I took it to, however the gearbox place said that it needed about 3 litres of fluid to get it up to the correct level. They did say that when they took it out all the gears that worked were now shifting nicely but it wasn't even trying to shift up to 3rd and they suspected more electrical than mechanical but obviously not 100%.     So I just bought a rhd 1995 300zx twin turbo 2+2, all around car is amazing but my seat will only go so far back. Every control works on it goes all the way forward but just won’t go back far enough and I’m 6’2 my knees hit the bottom of the steering wheel and front of the dash anybody know a fix to make it go back more bc my passenger seat goes back all the way.     I was having trouble with my 91 TT reving on it's own from 1500 to 2000 revs. The car recently wouldn't start and i thought i'd tracked it down to a cracked and corroded CAS plug. I've since replaced this and cleaned quite a few of the other plugs, but now it revs on its own. It also at first was popping and banging like a rally car and the exhaust was getting too hot to touch, which it didn't do before. My data scan is showing codde 55 - no faults, before it was showing an ignition fault, i think code 21, any ideas? 20240614_175114.mp4

    So I just installed a wiring specialties harness on my RHD z32 NA, but after installing everything it won’t start, the engine will crank, but it will not run, me and my friends have tried changing the chassis ground and intake grounds but to no avail, all the wiring is in properly and everything is lighting up on the dash like it should, I even checked the PCM for any codes flashing on the potentiometer, but it gave me the 5-5 all good code, could there be something that I’m missing?

    Hi All Whilst searching for the still illusive idle adjustment screw I came across these two plugs going nowhere! 1) Does anyone know what they are? They are adjacent to the auto gearbox dipstick (see photo). 2) Does anyone have a picture where the idle adjustment screw is located on 1991 TT. Thanks in advance Martin

    My car has the Altia sill plates...except they don't work. We've tested both sides whilst off the car. Does anyone know the spec of the light strip if I wanted to try and replace them? Bonus if you know where I could source it from too!

    Hi all, Was out in the car last week and my speedo stopped working. Not the whole cluster, purely the speedo. Everything else is working well. This then caused my steering to be heavy and HICAS light to come on, which I’ve been told happens when the speedo dies. Whats the likely problem here would you think? I would argue not the cluster itself but maybe a speed sensor?

    I have the usual JWT Pop filter on my Z but due to the chassis brace at the very front of the car (that I think is UK spec specific?) I have to crush the filter, both against the brace and also on the top when I install the nose panel. This ends up messing up the filter over time and makes refitting the nose panel a real pain. I know the HKS super power flow is shorter but I wondered if anyone knows if this fits better with the UK spec front brace still in place?

    Hi Guy's, Girls & Others. As I’m rebuilding the whole rear end my attention has turned to the drive shafts, the boots look in excellent condition but as they are 33 years old, should I replace them. I will be cleaning and re greasing, painting exposed parts. CZP have replacements but tax and delivery add up, any other recommendations. pic for ref only everything has been dismantled.

    The near side indicator light on my dash has stopped lighting up, the off side light is working fine. that’s not all ! I have three indicator lights on both sides of the Z Indicator lights in wing mirror/ small side wing indicator & the normal near side front indicator. The wing mirror & the small side wing indicator along with the dashboard light have stopped working, but the front indicator works! The dashboard lightbulb has been checked & changed. Could it be an earthing matter? Or could I have damaged the circuit board changing the glow dials? But if the second thought was a problem all the indicator lights wouldn’t work. …

    Does anyone have recommendations for tweeters? I'm considering adding some in a custom door mount. The dimensions I have to play with to accommodate are diameter 1.94inch up to 2.4inch and depth 1.5inch. Not looking to break the bank but hoping to get something that is good quality. I currently have stock speakers with a sub and amp and I'm currently very happy with all of that. Just need to add some treble so the vocals come out a bit more.

    Hello I have a 1990 300zx na . This problem has happened to me like 5 times over the past year, Everytime it happens the day after it will be fine and can go into drive like normal. Now I had this problem for the past 2 days and still the same results, the car can go into ever other gear but as soon as I shift it into drive it would sound like is dying and shut of completely . I can even move it in reverse perfectly fine without it shutting off, it’s only in drive . Anyone have any ideas? Not sure if it can be fuel related or a simple sensor. Car is automatic by the way

    What is the latest thinking on aftermarket ECUs for the Z32? My build is almost done so need to get serious about the ECU and wiring. TDI has ask me to consider LifeRacing as they are local, have strong knock protection, and they have used them for many classic builds. The only problem with LifeRacing is they don’t offer a plug and play option so wiring would need to done manually. Haltech and Link are other obvious options but interested in the groups thoughts. My build is a high powered NA so no worries related to boost control but I am running the Ross Performance crank trigger and CAS.

    Does anyone know what the internal dimensions are of the tailgate lock barrel? I'm considering fitting a reverse cam in there. I do have a link to a camera which I know another owner has installed successfully but unfortunately the listing doesn't mention it's dimensions. I'm hoping to find one with Night Vision and perhaps HD too.

    Hi, i have just done a manual swap on my 91 Auto TT and fitted a NA gearbox, iam now having issues with the speedo not displaying the correct speed, when i start the car and move the car forwards a tiny bit it will show 20 mph or more and stay there until i turn the car off i pulled out the speed sensor and it has the the red cog on it. My question is do i need to fit the blue TT cog to get the speed to display correct or is there another issue Thanks for the help

    Hi zedders, hope some of you older heads can shed some light on what may be my issue with my Z Started hunting very badly when engine gets warm, iacv was my first idea, had it off and cleaned up , both solenoids click with 12v and ohm out at 10 & 22 ohms Maf looks in good shape , tps is in spec also Only thing that does look strange is on the datascan, the aac reading is on 12% when cold and hot , Initial startup it was at around 36% but dropped rapidly to 12% , so something isn't right but can't use the car as it basically stalls out when warm idle is all over place I've read up it should be at 15% when warm is this correct? Any ideas much ap…

    Hey all, I've fitted a new in tank fuel pump to my Zed, on the recommendation of my of my mapper/tuner (it was running out of puff under load). He is suggesting that he wires in a new relay and wiring, as the existing thirty year old wiring may fail under load..... Thought please? Thanks - Andy
