General Discussions - Non 300ZX

Any IT techs thoughts on the scource code of a suspicious repeat email we receive each month warning of our excess broadband use, then suggesting we click a link to a section which will monitor it for you daily, the email is well presented with logos and all of the normal footer details but something seems odd, and the last line of the scource code is a loop back address which is odd for a BT email. Hi all, I did a mad thing over christmas and bought a GT-R, if anyone's thinking about it - do it! My last Z was quick but this thing is insane, loads of fun to drive, handles like a go cart, gear changes are mental bang bang bang up or down the box no lag at all, and it sticks to the surface like it's been glued. Lots of strange noises and whistles, and some grindy crunches at slow speed. 0-60 is 2.8 sec, bucket loads of torque, very quick even if you don't take it over 3k rpm. Downsides are rip off prices for brakes and especially tyres, the Dunlop runflats are only available through a NissanHPC and the nearsest one in Bristol wants £2200 for a set (285 and 25…

Was meant to be going to a car show with the zed today in sailsbury place called bodytech auto services in netherhampton,this would have been the second year but im hoping they put it off for a few weeks cos of the snow seems to have been a good turn out last year with over 50 cars anyone on here go last year or know if they cancelled

For the RC Geeks My Lads worked for 5 days solid building this brute all came in the box as bags of bits the pics dont quit show how much work gos in to building one of these but the box was just full of parts 1k worth of kit once all put together

Arrrghh! Can't park the Lancer on the drive, it's far too steep & we've got tremendous amounts of snow here. So to my horror we've had to park it over the road. We're the first house in the cul de sac on a dodgy bend at the best of times. Add the weather into the mix & idiots who can't drive in snow & we've had 2 v v near misses in 5 mins. We're sat here, arses knitting socks, watching to see what happens. There's no way we can move the car now either, far too much snow. In for a v tense night. Fingers toes & tits crossed its ok. anyone use any of these apps? i just started using this tonight lets me have a keyboard and touchpad on my iphone or ipad so i can conect my laptop to the tv and use them to control it. just wondered if anyone else used it. also got an app to control power dvd on my laptop so much better when watching movies

Just had the worst day ever.. Was playing indoor cricket last night and a ball got batted straight in my face (should never take your eye off the ball I know!) Anyway, black eye straight away and thought it'll be best to get checked out in a&e and turns out my eye socket is fractured and eyeball is shagged. Been to 3 hospitals today and feel better after finding out that nothing's terminal but gonna be a good 6 weeks recovery to start with :-( Worst injury I've ever had and it wakes you up to how fragile us human mortals are. Anyone else had a wake up call?

Just wandering if I purchase a 12v car scissor jack it will work upside down to lower a projector from a ceiling and then back up again? Yes , I know I can buy a purpose made projector lift but they are expensive and I like making my own things on the cheap :D CheerZ for any info ;)

Well alana is now back at work after having nyomi, one week in the woman who was doing our childcare for a reasonable price says she cant do it as it's to much. If we send her to a normal childcare it will be £850 a month alana only makes £1050 a month so not worth while and because I have a good job we get no help from the government. Perhaps we should both stop working and go on benefits they seem to be the only ones that get help. Just needed to have a wee moan on here lol
