Hi guys POssibly a pretty silly question but I only have space for either the car or the bike in the garage and as the car now seems to suffering from a leak problem, I want to get it into the garage permanently. This means leaving the bike outside. The problem is, I live in a permit only parking area. Now, I've got a tax disc holder that I can stick the permit it but what's the best way to attach it to the bike so it can't be knicked (the permit, not the bike)? I was also thinking of covering the bike but obviously the permit needs to be visible too - are there covers out there that are made with this in mind? To explain, I'm new to bikes and this bik…

......But not as difficult, it would seem, as the supposedly simple task of changing the side light bulbs on Julia's Rav-4:cursing: I bought 3 sets of nice bright LEDs for the cars and thought I'd pop them in this morning. The ZX is easy - one of the few thing that is - just undo the retaining screws, pop the lamp unit out twist the holder and done. The Merc - well, it's a bit fiddly with short clumsy fingers, but still all done in 10 minutes.... .....but the Rav-4? I have to say I gave up - unless you have hands the size and dexterity of a marmoset, it is impossible!!! She has the 05/06 facelifted version of the Mk2 Rav; and the side lights are at the lower/out…

As most of you know, i work as a plumber for a housing association, some of my other things i get involved in clearing houses for work for one reason of another. After 7 days of people doing a runner anything left in the house is classed a rubbish, previous threads have shown that i have found such things as a Breitling navtimer watch, penn international big game reel and other stuff. But have had 3 things sitting around for a few weeks, that i thought sod it chuck em on ebay and if i get a couple of quid then cool. All items put on ebay with no reserve starting at 99p with the auctions ending today. Antique match holder, found in a fallen down shed at the bot…

.....in particular dopey farmer/pikey types.....:cursing: I left home nice and early this morning as I wanted to get a few bits done at work before closing for Christmas. So there I was driving happily along a nice and fairly quiet national speed limit A-road; it was pitch dark (it's the shortest day - LOL) and there were no street lights. I wasn't driving overly fast - maybe 65 at the most - when I thought I saw something not too far in front of me.... ....turns out I did. A stupid f***ing c**t driving along in a black double cab truck, towing a black trailer, at no more than 30mph WITH NO LIGHTS ON IT!!! There were no reflectors, no rear number plate and the d…

F1 has a new presenter the very capable Suzi Perry:tt1: Sad to see Jake go as he was very good but Suzi is a lot more easy on the eyes. But she will have her hands full with David Coulthard and Eddie Jordon to rein in. Bring it on:thumbup:

I'm trying to download the latest Nvidia Geforce drivers but the download gets to 99% and hangs. I managed to download it once but it gives me an archive error. I've tried both Firefox and IE but the results are the same. Can someone try this for me please, it's 280MB so it's a fair size. http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/54625 Just trying to find out if it's just me having the problem, I can't find anything about on their forum. Cheers
