The wife has just arrived home to tell me she has just been stopped doing 52mph in a 30mph limit. The officer was on a motorcycle and had given her a stern talking to that had brought her to tears. The next comment was that she must not do this again and if he had not reached his "Quota" already this week then she would have been in serious trouble. Is it that she's a woman or do the police have a quota of say 10 speeders a day, or 20 offences a week to catch ??????? If it was me I'm sure it would be crush the car and lock him away for the year, 52mph in a 30mph area, she is a disgrace :glare::glare::glare:

As per the title, I'm in court tomorrow on what I see as a bit of a trumped up driving charge. The history is this: Last November I got a letter asking me to confirm I was the owner of my car as I had been caught texting and driving in September and do I admit that I did it? The only evidence they have is an undercover policeman said he was stood at the opposite side of the road as I came to a stop at the junction and he could see into my car and I was texting. I denied it. July this year I get a letter saying I have to appear in court in October this year. I go with phone records showing that I didnt recieve or send any texts or phonecalls 15 mi…

  9. The compressor for our Fiat Ducato (6 wheeler) has burnt out and we need to source a replacement, but not sure who actually supplied the part originally (it's an ex Police van) It's a big old compressor (approx 12" - 16" in length) and so far none of the suppliers recognise it. I presume air compressors are pretty much a generic part as long as the rating and hose connector sizes are correct. Does anybody deal with this kind of thing in work?

We tried various positions - round the back, on the side, up against a wall... but in the end we came to the conclusion the bottom of the garden was the only place for a good shed. She stood before me, trembling in my shed. "I'm yours for the night," she gasped, "You can do whatever you want with me." So I took her to McDonalds. She knelt before me on the shed floor and tugged gently at first, then harder until finally it came. I moaned with pleasure. Now for the other boot. Ever since she read THAT book, I've had to buy all kinds of ropes, chains and shackles. She still manages to get into the shed, though. "Put on this rubber suit …

Mr Awesome An 83 year old British gentleman arrived in Paris by plane. As he was fumbling in his bag to find his Passport, a stern French lady asked if he had been to France before. He admitted he had been there previously. The lady sarcastically replied "Then you should know to have your passport out and waiting Sir". The gentleman said "I didn't have to show it last time". "Impossible !" The woman snapped. " You British have always had to show your passports to get through here". The man responded by whispering "Well my dear, when I came ashore on the beach in D-Day 1944! I couldn't find any ****ing Frenchmen to show it too !" Wear your poppy with PRIDE

As the above really, Sold a set of alloys over a month ago on Ebay seller pays I dispatch, item was as described "needs refurb to make new"along with "no refunds" a month down the line I get an email opening a case "item not as described" obviously I disputed this and the guy was a complete idiot saying there was a lot of damage to which I know there wasnt. Ebay went in his favour even though i stated no refunds and after a months usage where he could have damaged the item. Very annoyed at the lack of support for sellers.
