Being an admirer of most thing Japanese, (hence my passion for the 300ZX), I decided to bite the bullet and buy 3 chefs knives that I have lusted after for some time now. Long term, I hope to build up a range to suit my basic needs. (will probably end up with a set of 7 knives) I am no buddy chef or anything, just a lover of quality and craftsmanship, and could not resist sharing some photos for those who might have similar likes. Following on from my rant the other day about selling nurburgrings on ebay and being messed about, last night I sold my Merc S430, had 112 watchers and a few bidders, the winner bid a couple of times yesterday just before auction, I emailed them to congratulate them and ask when they would be picking the car up and reminding them of the request for £200 deposit within 24 hours and $received no reply.... Just logged in this morning to get an email from them saying they bought it as a birthday present for their husband but last night found out its a diesel he is after and apologises and said she wished she'd asked before she bid. Fuming this morning. So much for c…

I'm looking in a few months in buying a new daily driver, dunno what I should go for though?? I won't have a huge amount to spend, maybe 3k, have been looking at BMW 330d and merc clk too, I want something with all the bells and whistles, and relatively economical, just don't know what I fancy, would like something a bit nicer to haul about in, I realise it going to be somewhere between a 2000-2004 car.....any ideas guys???

Hi guys, can I pick your brains. Got ran up the back of my daily drive,my vectra c. It didnt do too much damage, crumpled the bumper around the reg plate a bit. Stupidly agreed to bypass the insurance and didnt report the accident to the police. Got a quote of £570 which he thought was too much so got a second and it was £9 cheaper. I know he is trying to get out of paying but where do i stand legally? I havnt tried my insurance company yet(AXA) but it is now 7 weeks since it happened. I know where he works and have his reg no. but he wont give me his home address or insurance company. Am I screwed???
