Ok I'm after some real world answers from those in the know! We are looking at going abroad in a few months time, nowhere too far probably France, Spain or Italy. Our lad will be about a year and a half by then. I don't expect it to be as smooth running as previous holidays but I'm expecting the flight to be a handful, anything else I need to think about or be warned about before we organise the trip? Would I need to take a car seat or can you hire that sort of thing? Btw here's the cheeky chappie :)

  2. Well I'm currently trying to convince my wife to keep the del sol but in the mean time in trying to get all the bits and pieces done on the car to make it better for her. Iv got the s2000 seats fitted so that's done and when I get a chance il do the ice install properly. My next task however is the doors. They have had the handles removed and have buttons at the boot that pop the doors open but they are constantly failing so I have ordered a universal central locking kit so that I can use the button that activates it to lock will open one door and the One to close the other door. What I'm thinking about though is removing the inner door handles and smoothing them of when …

ok so here is the problem the honda del sol has had its door handles removed and usually uses buttons on to open the doors. when i was going in for an mot not long ago i had to change the buttons as the had stopped working this worked at first then the drivers door solenoid thing stopped working so to get round it to get it through the mot i stripped the central locking and now when you push to open the lock it instead opens the door. what im wondering is is there a universal system i can buy that will opereate the central locking but also have 2 buttons on the control that will allow me to open the door?

Received a text message the other day from somebody claiming to know me. Text back and said I didnt know them. They text back and said I was kidding. Anyhoo, this went on for about 4 or 5 texts and I got a tadge rude and told him to fook off and check his number. He did and text back and apoligised saying he had just got a new phone and contract and had made a mistake, so sorry, one digit out. He also put his name in during one of these texts as he thought I was who he thought I was. Over and done with, eh ? Text last night, or early this morning, saying "hi, its Scott again" Could just be another mistake, or maybe just in from the pub and fancied a wind …

Just dropped the hubby off at work and on my way back was driving along when all of a sudden i spotted a fox crawling across the road, obviously it had already been hit and was dragging itself off the road but it was too late tried swerving but didnt have enough time and hit it :( Didn't know what to worry about more guilt of running the poor thing over or if i'd damaged the car, got nearer home and could hear some noise coming from the front so checked it out and its the plastic guard on the underside of the wing/wheel arch, its only being held on by a wire (which is where you guys come in) its coming from the fog light so am i right in thinking its an earth wire??…

I've just got a Zenon bumper and I want to smooth over the holes for the front fog lights. But if I do this there's not really anywhere else I can put them. I know a lot of cars don't come with front fog lights but if I remove them from a car that's meant to have them would it fail the mot?

Got an intermittent problem with my Pulsar GTIR, it starts first time every time, but sometimes after a run it won't restart after a few minutes. The next morning it will start again as usual. The previous owner said it was down to the alarm and you have to 'pump the accelerator once'... Well I can't get that to work and surely Theres a problem. One day it's going to catch me out when I refuel miles from home. Has anyone got any ideas what it could be? I have done a google search but nothing really comes up, and I really don't like the owners forums... Don't think it'll be long before I get another Z lol.. It's got a dizzy and rotor arm on this engine - could it…

  23. I've seen these, and when I have my Zed up and running I want to do something cool (and legal-ish) with them. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12V-EL-panel-sheet-10mm-1500mm-EL-tap-lamp-backgroud-set-Factory-sale-/221207217551?pt=US_Car_Lighting&hash=item3380fa458f I'm just surprised no one else already has, other than those dash dials I've seen? I just keep thinking Tron! lol

Since I'm getting the del sil back on the road for the other half I was up in Perth picking up some integra suspension. While there the guy says he had a set of s2000 seats that I had been wanting for it for a while they were going really cheap so I took them. Came to fit them today easy job I thought except the guy who had the car before us decided it would be a gold idea to simply place the new rails in the car and drill straight through the floor. Always thought they never felt great from day one but the fixings were terrible it's no wonder they felt loose iv only done the passengers side so will take some pics of the drivers side tomorrow when it's light. Turned an ea…
