Anyone seen superman yet?

Found a 1999 Slicktop Manual in Japan with 23000 KM's on the clock.. looks mint. I keep hearing on this site, that it won't pass SVA... but with no engine mods.. can't imagine it would be a problem. Unfortunately will cost around £11K to get in in my drive with plates/MOT.. Recon that is ridiculous?? considering a Slicktop over here ( that is 6-9 years older ) go for £5K Snap it up?? or 'a fool and his money' for considering?? On a more serious note: How do I copy/paste pictures into this Thread??

I had a MRI scan today fookin hell I dont want to do that again. I thought "I'll be OK i dont get clostrophobic"..........Think again buddy! Bang Bang Bang Bang goes the electro magnet. OK it dont hurt but you have to wear ear deffenders and its still loud and if you open your eyes the top is a few CM's away from your nose. I just kept a cool mind and rode it out for 40 minutes.

Finished building the box to house my subs in the Zed .. 10.4 cubit foot and made from 1"1/2 MDF, fibreglass n steel bracing, weighing in at 162kg without subs .. pics will be up soon once i start the steel bracing that has to be welded inside the car to hold it in place John SPL in a ZED .. can it be done? ... Silly Question!!

Hands up - Who hates saying "Its a Nissan" Groups of kids congrating round the zed, I walk up to it and they ask what is it. I Think theyre expecting some exotic make ie ferrari, etc I say nissan they grunt and go "oh" My mate was with me a while ago and told this group of young kids "its a ferrari", and they were dead impressed :smash:

Well, I bit the bullet and decided to go back to the states again. Anyway, there's a reasonable following in the LA area. Although I'm not going to LA itself, I'm staying at Long Beach which is kinda between San Diego and LA. So they've not had a meet for ages, so I've roped some along to have a mini-gathering...which might increase in numbers I guess as I only posted the thread yesterday!. I'll make sure I get some photos up. Will be nice to see how Z owners do it 'Westside'! :rofl:

Just booked myself on an Isle of Man trip with the rotary lot. £150 for the ferry and around £50 for the circuit depending on numbers. Its looking very likely that we'll be able to close the mountain road (TT track) especially for us!! F*ckin awesome! Is anyone here interested? I can see if they mind, and the added numbers will ensure the mountain roads get closed for us.

Well after some long hard thinking I've decided to sell my Z, shes been with me for 4 years-ish and I have had so much pleasure its untrue. As you may have noticed I havent been on here much lately, I've had a lot going on recently and shes getting neglected, I have been losing interest in her but have put it down to building work at home and stuff going on at work but I have been spending more time at weekends with my other hobby...Quad Biking. I know not strictly legal, but I might get some of those old style plates - black with white/silver lettering as per pre-1973 reg cars. Just wondering if anyone has them....I do remember seeing a Zed on here with the old style rear plate.
