Has anyone used a GPS receiver linked into a laptop+Autoroute??? If so how successful/accurate was it??? Cheerz Phil

Well my new plenum and bigger 240xs throttle bodies came today Not the best job in the world but easily polished up again and a couple of things tidied up :) but compared to standard ones there much bigger :) i took a picture of the silicon which easily went over the old throttles and on my new ones they just slide inside them :bow: So hoping to allow some more air into the engine and make a little extra power ;) Should also increase the throttle response and make it a little easier to drive :) Mike

Well i see you all getting excited about some event that is going off soon, you all know which one. Well from the bottom of my heart have a good time do the 300`s proud. i will miss it as i decided to rip both the z`s apart to do bits pics attached just finished putting leather in my blue one and my scoop one, well thats just the on going project wide arse next i think on that one. have the bumper for the blue will get that done soon. well all in all i will miss this year but boy i will have 2 nice z`s next year.....have a good un...chris

Went to see Ben Harper at the Apollo London last night. I think its the best gig I've been to. Awesome musicians and the music is really suited to being live as well. I mentioned I was going a while back and nobody seemed to know who it was. Its well worth having a listen if you see it. Kind of hard to catagorize but Rock/Blues/Soul/Gospel lol! Dave

Is any one going in convoy on the Friday from the Bedfordshire area. We have a 2 car one from Bedford involving a Zed and REX thus far.

Bit spotter-ish this, but hey... For 1 year, 11 months and 3 weeks every 2 years, not much happens in Farnborough. Then we have the airshow, and the place becomes one big car-park for a week. Working in a 2nd-storey office I get a pretty clear view over the airfield, which means I get to see all the flying displays including the pre-show practices. Twice this afternoon I've watched a Sukoi (Su-35?) do things that planes just shouldn't be able to do. :bow: The cobra, a tailslide, and this really weird thing where it climbs vertically but slowing, then just as it comes to a stop the pilot makes it flip backwards- it rotates through 540 degrees whilst apparen…

Guys Just wanted to announce that I am getting married on the 18th of next month and also that I will be a proud father come February next year. In light of this, I am just about to send the heads/bottom end off to be reconditioned for the Zed. Once there back, fitted, a RR tune will be in order and then the car will be up for sale. Oh, the interior will have been re-done too as well as new brakes, tyres and an MOT. Not sure what I'll be asking but I'm not letting it go without a fight. Unless someone has a nice Golf 5dr TDi or GTi for p/x....:D Anyways, hadnt posted in here for a while so just thought I'd let you know whats going on..... :) Ta…

Just back from hols there, first time in the canaries as an adult! Hired a little jeep for a week, but if only i could've been driving my little honey instead! Don't think the kids noticed though :cry: anyway just an excuse for a thread to say hello to you guys, been off for awhile since leaving my job and starting my own business. Hard to stay up late as I used to , but everythings changed now, still hoping to make the world record attempt, finances permitting.
