Just left work for lunch, about 200 yards from my work there is a speed camera facing the opposite way to which I'm going. Its kinda set between a crossing island and I see 2 workmen with their illuminoius vests on that look like they're just about to dig it up or something. So I get the bright idea of making them jump with my dump valves. I time it just right, perfect, and at the very end of 1st gear I let off the gas and woo-hoo those HKS super seq are loud! if you can hear them over my cats out stainless exhaust that is. ..........but just as I'm level I see their faces and they are NOT happy. Oh sheeeeeeeeeeet, you've guessed it-they were old bill, doing somethin…

Z32 crankshaft is cross-drilled on both the mains and the rod journal. The oil hole on the journal goes all the way through to the other side so you can see through it. This provides oil for 360 degrees of crank rotation because the top main bearing half is grooved. One hole feeds for 180 degrees of crank rotation. As one hole turns to the bottom half of the main bearing it becomes blocked. The other hole on the opposite side gets unblocked and feeds from the top half of the main bearing . It feeds the mains and the rods. As an added bonus the rod journal is cross-drilled as well. This helps high rpm oiling granted everything else is up to par like the high volume oil pum…

Hello mate, I was just checking up on some old posts and came accross yours from a couple of days ago, about your problem with the leak on the short rubber hose in the front of the engine block. My Z has exactly the same problem. Can you tell me where you got the parts/hoses from, and how much? Cheers! Neil

What you think? I personally thought the fight scenes went on too long, and you could tell most of it was computer graphics and not true visual effects like the first. Also the speech from "the arcitect" I need discussions on it as I think I know what it is all about and why everything is happening. Stuart

This'll spark a few arguments! My thoughts are do nothing, if he want to go on hunger strilke then so be it... Save the cost of a plane ticket and yes, I am a calous bastard! I'm not sure that having 'communist guerrilla' on your CV is a plus point in this country, not the kind of person you'd want to live next door to, is it? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/nottinghamshire/2939156.stm If the government give in it makes the system a farce IMHO. And what do these 'asylum seakers' bring to the UK? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/3039511.stm Tim

Following on from npower's CEO and Claim to Fame - is there someone famous outb there who is using your name! I found these scallywags masquerading as me! "Throughout his professional career, which embraces roles as organist, accompanist, arranger and teacher, Simon Wright has become established as a musician of enormous integrity, winning the admiration of musicians, audiences and critics alike." Also "After three years as Policy Adviser, Simon Wright (below) is leaving the All-Party Parliamentary Group on AIDS to take up a new post as ActionAid’s UK-based HIV Team Leader." and the Ozie! "I didn't start Whirlpool with the intention of it bei…

Anyone ever had anything written on the back of their Zed in the dirt? I know my car should be cleaner but i've been doing lots of miles recently... anyway, came out of Tesco's over the weekend to find someone had written... CATCH ME IF YOU CAN... On the silver rear panel at the back (quad light conversion) Made me smile! I'm just waiting for that to fade before someone writes on there: I WISH MY WIFE WAS AS DIRTY AS THIS!

Right this group buy is just going on for far too long and I really want them before billing. Can we just get this sorted. Ok, the design has been finalised with the exception of one thing which is the Dials logo on the speedo. This Thread is all about the logo nothing else. So please don;t start replying with I think this would be nice in Red or can we have the number in bold or I want 240 mph on the clockes etc. For those of you who want a set please vote. If you don't want a set please don't vote, simple as that. If you voted for a different logo please supply an image in this thread (no p|ssing about please) LOL. :D Hope that didn't…

People read my road kill about the Traction Control launch. :D Anyways, the Traction Control rev limiter was set to about 5,500, but when I let the clutch out the revs didnt drop they just stayed there untill I got to the speed when 5,500 is normal and then increased. Is that normal. Is that what was meant to happen? Did I just fry my clutch then too? :D Stuart Begining to save for clutch now :D

***oops, this was supposed to be in GENERAL CHAT*** thanx for moving There is a new virus with the code name "work". If you receive "work", from your colleagues, your boss, via e-mail or any one else, do not touch "work" under any circumstances. This virus wipes out your private life completely. If you should happen to come in contact with this virus. Put on your jacket and take two good friends and go straight to the nearest pub. Order three drinks, drink them swiftly and after repeating this 14 times you will find that "work" has been completely deleted from your memory. Forward this virus warning immediately to at least 5 friends. Should you realize t…

A whole 4 Z's showed up at Mascrat Manor yesterday - only to be overshadowed by the Ginsters pasty van meet. Instead of the usual talk about alloys and turbos and slagging off members of the board who were'nt present, the air was filled with comparisons between flat and traditional cornish, and the ideal inlet temperature of a cheese and onion slice...... I guess you'd have to have been there.... but if you had been there, there would have been more Z owners than Ginster employees....  :p :D

... of the rear of a Zed with the spoiler removed, prior to firtting a new one? I'd be interested to know what's underneath and how much remedial work will be needed to fill holes etc. So I can get a MkII spoiler fitted. I know I need to buy a perspex panel for above the light clusters. Thanks in advance Tim
