SRRAE
What you think? I personally thought the fight scenes went on too long, and you could tell most of it was computer graphics and not true visual effects like the first. Also the speech from "the arcitect" I need discussions on it as I think I know what it is all about and why everything is happening. Guest TT Tim
Awesome special effects but lacking in any real plot line IMHO. The original is a hard act to follow, because you've lost the 'shock' effect that the first one had. As for the Architect speech - just how shakesperean was that? Go see it if you want to see just how far special effect have come in such a short period of time. I personally enjoyed it. Tim

Do you understand what they do and the whole choice thing which origianally screwed the Matrix. Cos I have a feeling there is going to be a twist about Neo in the final one. Guest AdamR
I liked the "Empire Strikes Back" style ending - where everything is left hanging- at least its only a 6 month wait for Revolutions.... I also thought the fight scenes were awsome - yeah you could tell a lot of it was cgi but who gives a f**k, it was still amazing, and lets face it theres no way it could have been done with physical effects. However the MOST UNREALISTIC AND ANNOYING part of the film was when the police cars were faster than Trinity's Ducatti 996 IN A STRAIGHT LINE!!!!! now that really was unbelievable;) :p

As for the bike. I was thinking the same thing. Police car can keep up with a 190/200mph bike. Hmmmm! I also think they tried to get the same type of ending as Empire Strikes Back and The Two Towers whrere there is a conclusion to the film but we have to wait to see the conclusion to the whole thing. Matrix fell short and just ended it with no conclusion. Stuart

Stuart LMFAO you are talking about a sci fi movie lol, the entire thing is not real, so it actually doesnt need to make sense? i mean your talking about guys that can jump on cars and destroy them, now if that believable then why not a car being able to keep up with a bike lol? MikeGroves
I watched it and thought it rocked, Neo an anomoly created not to fight the machine but because he had to be created by the machines or the whole project would collapse. Neos purpose is to save man kind, but only by the destruction of the "free". I have so many things running in my head, is zion a submatrix of the matrix created to keep the "free" minds busy, outside of this matrix is their a real "real world" , is neo a programme? how did neo destroy the sentinals, was it becuase he was in a "submatrix" or was it because when smith lost his connection to the machines neo somehow took it on, it would explain how he could sense them. I guess I will have to wait until the 3rd movie, these things can only be answered by the writers, they have left it so it can go one of many ways. Guest Nelson MainFella
I thought the original Matrix was for geeks and anoraks - ie. people who instead of doing something real and constructive in life fantasize about being able to fight in ways they can in their computer games FFS. How can impossible fighting be cool FFS ??Cool is not the word ;) Effects on their own never make a good film - it's like making an album which is superb quality but the music in sh1t !! All IMHO ;) :D

GEEK ALERT GEEK ALERT GEEK ALERT lmffao he he :D My biggest gripe were the fight scenes, what a load of Crap , it looked like Ballett  The story line was easy enough to follow until i read what Mike just said about it lol. did you see the trailer at the end of the movie after the credits lol, another waste of listening to 10 minutes of KAK music to see 30 seconds of the next movie lol. Other than that i enjoyed it
