As some of you know I'm undertaking a 60k service. On top of changing the timing belt etc... I'm adding new rad hose kit from Danny, Underdrive pulley from smithy, uprated rad and autobox cooler from chunkle and a grounding kit from shrimpy ;) So today I've started stripping her down (boring i know, but time i posted a Z related post lol) One thing i have noticed when stripping her down is that she has 3 rads, there's the coolant rad which is removed in this next pic, there's a little one outta sight under the maf where the yellow arrow is pointin and the third is the one you can see with the red arrow pointin. Yay...! Been hovering around here for ages and finally made the leap! Does this seem like a good buy? UK 94 L, 2+2 TT targa in that dark met blue colour, electric leather with suede on the dash, digi aircon - Totally standard right down to the cd player and in mint condition having only had 3 owners! I'm so excited! I have done all the advised checks and all seems spot on. It was £2550 What should I do when I first get her? Well I have been working so much these last couple of weeks I aint had any time to drive the zed. So today I got in a bit early and couldnt resist. I took it for a little blast round the block and I dont know if you get the same but if I aint used it for a while and give it a blast it makes me grin so much that it starts hurting. PMSL. anyway the fookin thing is still a lunatic car and I fookin love it to bits. (figuratively speaking of course). :bow:

well yesterday I was told by the co.council that they do not pay out for pothole damage because of "non-feasance" disclaimer which they use against everyone who tries to claim. After doing some research on older cases in the newspapers I found they were correct. No-one in my position had ever been paid regardless of photos and evidence. I've just fitted an apexi power fc to my truck, now i'vejust about got my head around the fuelling maps before i start twiddling, but can someone explain to me the pros and cons of advancing and retarding the ignition. Are there any 'rules of thumb' about timing, ie the more boost youre running to you increase or etard the timing, or do you alter it according to the rpm etc etc.. any suggestions fact welcome. I heard that one way to keep an eye on the timing was to use an EGT probe, that way if you were too far advanced then youd be getting fuel burning in the exhaust and youd spot this using an egt probe.

Had a mad rush to collect the engine covers from the bead blasters today as I found out at 1:20pm that they close at 2pm, and it's a half hour drive away!(Nice of them to ring me like they said they would :rolleyes: ). It cost £20 in a taxi as I'm home alone (girlfriend and one parental unit are off in Latvia!) and my knackered hip means I can't drive yet but the results are pretty damn good!
