Newbies - let yourselves be known

My zed is in zed world getting new timing belt and refurbished turbos, should be ready in the week whoop whoop!!! I could do with some new leather front seats too and a fresh steering wheel, but cruise control is necessary so need the own steering wheel for nissan fairlady tt 1994 jap import auto. maybe just get the original seats reupholstered I? They look a state. I would've shown you guys a picture but getting the turbo done ennit haha I can't wait...

After a 500 mile round trip I now finally the owner of a Z32! Taken long enough I know. weddings/ house/kids kept getting in the way. Picked up a SWB, manual, na, slicktop yesterday. Many thanks to Tel (bartfaster) for the warm welcome and easy transaction. Couple of wee niggles to sort pre-mot. Anyone got a front washer motor going spare? Anyway. some pics. Hi all this is my first post and basically I've put my current car up for sale do I can invest in a zed. I fancy a tt t-bar with a budget of about 2500. Is that realistic? The price range I've seen on the usual sites is confusing. Any help much appreciated Cheers, Adam

First fell in love with the 300zx whilst studying in australia years ago and managed to finally buy my first 4 years ago, its been a wonderful cocktail of joy and pain but all part of the Z experience i wouldn't change. Hey there guy's been a member for a while on here reading up and doing my research before i went ahead and brought a car. and yesterday with the help of former zed owner Paul Stevens i took the plunge into the 300zx world and brought a rough TT zed with a leaky engine. and I'm pleased to say that after much anger and cursing the leak was fixed to reveal a good runner :D so I'm currently a very happy owner and hope to learn more about these fantastic cars!

Has yet to be purchased... sad times on that front. I originally fell in love with the 300ZX when I was about 7 and then completely put them out of my mind until I rediscovered them at 18 but by that point they were way too expensive and I was far too young to have one and yet again... Evening all! Just wanted to announce my return to the world of the Zeds! Went to view it on Sunday morning bought it and then had a nice 275mile drive and it was sweet as a nut. So happy to be back in the world and love the power (running 426bhp) It was bought off 'rusty.sills' off here and it was great to meet him and a genuine seller and was glad to get a great zed off such an enthusiast. Got a few things i need to do to get her 100% but only very minor, body and engine and 100% strong and straight! Thanks Munny975

newbie here... seriously thinking about buying a 300zx my names luke and i currently drive a civic coupe been looking at the zx's for a while now i would like some advice on things that go wrong how bad they are on fuel what they are like to live with on a daily basis and do they rust will have a look round the forum and see what i can see etc but for now... Hi all, Just got back from picking up my new 300zx. I bought it from Andy Puttick, very nice guy - car seems very genuine, drove from Westbury to Bristol without missing a beat. Fingers crossed that continues. Got a trip to York this weekend and hope things continue working well! Slightly nervous about venturing on a 4 hour trip in a car I've only just bought, but hey lifes for taking risks I reckon... Looking forward to getting out in the sun with it over next few months, before tucking it up over the winter. Its a UK spec black 93 TT auto. Few little bits and peices to tidy up, but they can wait for a while. Can anyone reccomend a decent garage in Bristol…

Hi all, Been deliberating for a few weeks what to go for next, currently have a 1996 FTO gpx which is fun to drive and looks great but doesn't thrill the pants off me tbh. I have kind of narrowed it down to a 300zx TT or a Supra TT, like the shape of them both and would have to be in black (the best colour imho) I will not be able to afford one for quite a few months yet as its being funded from my no smoking money, budget is about £3000 I am aware that I may struggle to get a supra TT for that money but am sure there are 300zx TT's out there for that money. anything I need to know about the zx's? is there a meet down south somewhere that I could …
