Hello all, I brought the black 10000 mile ZX from Gazwoz a few months back. I've been gingerly using him as a daily driver since the purchase, and a few small problems aside its been an epic ride. Im taking him off the road shortly to have James at Powerzed drop the engine and fix an oil leak and a few bits and bobs, and also to have Poly bushes put on. Then he's going in to have the rear spoiler removed, boot lid resprayed and a fibre glass wing put on as the old one is bubbling, and i heard if its bubbling, get it off quick as rust will chew through the lid in no time, James also mentioned Hens teeth when he advised me to get it removed. Im also having …

Hi Everyone Just wanted to reintroduce myself. My names Chris, I had my first 300zx when I was 21 (a nice grey import TT auto), my second some 12 years later (blue uk TT manual) and now another (flip uk TT manual). I brought the car as stock for my new car trading business (more details to follow within the next 12 months) with the intention to return it back to standard HOWEVER I've fallen in love with her and now plan to run it as my personal example car (that's how I'm justifying keeping it to the wife) ? Looking forward to catching up, learning more about the 300 and hopefully getting to meet some of you. (Any local owners want to meet up please messag…

Hey everyone thought I'd pop in a little message to say hi and hope that everyone is ok and doing well. I say newish in the title as I had an account on here back in 07ish with an old email that I no longer have access too, at that time I had a 92 J plate fairlady 2+2 targa, was a NA auto so like anyone would do I hopped online to get advice on the car and found you guys! I will be in the market for another 300zx in the future though will be looking for a later model twin turbo manual (wondering if Gaz can pm me with rough import prices? Just to get my bearings on how much I'm looking at nowadays). Anyway really looking forward to chatting with you all and …

Hi, I'm new Z owner and new here, not my car though :) I'm based in Spalding. Where is the closest specialised garage to sort a few major issues, I know there is one in Nottingham, but maybe there's one closer?

Hello, I have owned a 1989 300zx for about 3 years but have had it locked in a garage for most of that, the time has come to renovate and it needs welding underneath, I previously bought some inner sills on line(about 2 years ago) but the welder I gave them to lost them!.....I have looked everywhere and can't seem to find any, all previous suppliers no longer sell them, has anyone any ideas? Thanks, Neil

Hello ladies & gentlemen. I've loved the Z32's ever since i first played Gran Turismo - back in the day. I've always wanted one but the time has never been right.... until now! I've just purchased a twin turbo, auto Z. 49k miles on the clock so she's very much still a baby. I got her for a good price but she has a small issue, the engine cuts out when it reached running temperature; i'm sure it's just a sensor. (diagnosing it Sunday) But anyway, here she is. I love her, plan to convert to manual in a few months. Also on the look out for leather interior!

Unfortunately she isn't working at the moment she has developed an electrical gremlin but hopefully sorted on Monday. I would post a pic but I haven't a clue how to do it. Haha

Hi there, This is my Z32 300zx, it is a 2+2 twinturbo t-top from 1990 with 97.000km on the clock (well....the digital clock doesn't work as it seems to be normal lol), I have it since last November. Ohh I'm not from the UK, but from Portugal, the lovely region from Algarve.

Returning to the club after a lengthy absence. I have had a 94 Twin Turbo Japanese import for the last 12 years, but off the road for 9 years. This years project is to get an MOT and return to driving now I am retired. Hope to meet at upcoming events later in the year.

  20. Started by minimayhem,

Hai everyone, Got an itch for a new to me car, and the 300zx looks like the one I want to go for. I'm just checking out the more obscure part costs, but so far the general consumables seem quite reasonable. I try and do all the work I can myself. Which leads me to my first question :) How hard are these cars to work on? I'm no mechanic, but I like to fettle, and have done things like upper engine work/general transmission maintenance/electrics etc before. But, I've never owned a turbo car, so am unsure how that would amount to additional maintenance. I've read a few threads on other sites with people saying maintenance is hard and expensive. What are …

Hi guys thought I would join here as I have just aquired a 1990 LWB 2+2 TT z32 she's been sat for 12 years in a garden and I have managed to save her but I'm hoping it's not too late for her. Engine and gearbox wise the car is sound it's just the body work! Let's say there is a little bit of rot

Thought I'd better introduce myself to yourselfs as I've been lurking for a couple of weeks whilst deciding how I'm going to deal with my new Zed, which I now done. Bought her at the beginning of the month and.... had to deal with a kerploded boiler, kitchen refit and a leaky bog, so deposited the car in a mates barn. Now I've got the insurance and tax and shizz sorted, she's coming home tomorrow. :w00t: As far as I can tell, there are at least three previous owners of VIW on this very forum, all of whom I wouldn't mind chatting with about the car with as it's all new to me, coming from working on other people's S bodies to having my own Z32. On another n…
