Hi, my name is Chris and I am (I hope) about to become a 300ZX... or a Fairlady Z as I still prefer to think of them. I was first introduced to the car during my first ever trip to Japan back in 1989. I don't think I have any photographs of the car from that trip - but I do from my next trip the following year, when the family I was staying with took me to a showroom so that I could not only look at one, but also sit in one (photos attached). Despite always hoping that I would get a chance to own one, that never happened in the 1990s, and I've still not sat in one since May 1990! Now things may be about to change. I have been keeping an eye on prices of second-hand ones a…

Hello everyone. I have a z32 jdm 2+0 slicktop NA. Always find you learn more by listening than talking. I'm sure there are plenty of folks here with years of knowledge so hopefully when I have questions that need answers someone will be able to help.

Hey guys, it has been a while. Life has been a constant distraction but it's about time I popped back in to say hi. My car still lives (and I do drive it nowadays) and is not that broken these days! Jimmer did some bits and pieces last year to bring it together and it's nearly that time for MOT again so a few things to sort, but overall doing pretty well. I'll try to pop in here every now again and see how everyone is doing 🙂

Hi everyone, I was a member on here many years ago, was known for my detailing and valeting back then, and am trying to locate my favourite old Z (I've had five so far). It was a green slicktop NA manual, registration number N434 OGC. I foolishly passed up on the opportunity to buy it back, albeit in a very sorry state, a few years ago and I was led to believe it was broken up for parts not long after. However, I was just doing some nostalgic DVLA checks, as you do, and it looks like it's been back on the road since then, and the last MOT only expired in September this year. Does anyone on here own her, or know the owner? I would love to see the Z again 😁 Cheers all, …

Hi 300ZXers! I became the owner of a 1995 Nissan 300ZX in December 2019 and joined the club in October 2020 - but haven't posted anything. After lurking around, everyone seems really nice and friendly, willing to offer advice and knowledge! So, I figured it was about time I said hello and share the 300. I've always liked the 300 and in the sea of 90s JDMs such as: Supras, Skylines and RX-7s, the Z was just underrated and looked like something else. I had been on the look out for a while and enquired about a few, but they just didn't seem right, so I held off until I found one that 'clicked'. The One I Ended Up With It's a 1995 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo, …

I used to own this car up to 2014. It was an awesome car which I miss greatly and have very fond memories of. Anybody here seen it recently? I'm very interested in knowing whether it is still going, and if so how it looks today. Cheers, elymac23

Hi, new to this forum. I don't own a car yet! I plan on going to look at one next weekend. If it is as described and I can do a suitable deal I'll but it. I've done a fair bit of research and I think I know what to check, any further advice I'm very happy to listen. Previously owned a R33 Skyline and a Subaru legacy GTB wagon, so no stranger to JDM cars. I'll post more when I buy the car. Martin

Hey everyone, Finally decided to make an account here and introduce myself, I'm Mohsan. I officially became a proud Zed owner in February. A 1992 twin turbo manual 2+2. It's a UK spec in grey, currently on 70k miles. The car had a couple of owners from new, made it to 69k miles with full dealer history until around 2015 someone bought it and stored in one of those carcoons for 10 years undriven. It's very much been preserved in whatever condition it was in 10 years ago, mostly very tidy, especially the interior. Exterior, while mostly in good condition, there's a bit of tlc needed. A small rust bubble on the rear quarter to address, the sills have been at some point repa…

Hi Everyone, Finally bough my 1990 Nissan 300ZX Z32. The car is EU-Spec and sold new in Germany. Twin Turbo with manual transmission, Targa top and it's 2+2. I'm interested about these EU spec 300ZX history and especially with my car VIN number ending with 0000316. Is it from the early production batch back in the day? It was imported to Finland approx 2008 and has pretty much sat since then. Exterior is Grey and interior black with the code KH2 G. Car is completely rust free and all around in great shape. Original wheels and all. Planning to restore it even more in the upcoming winter and change parts that are worn. Currently changing fluids etc. to get it back on the ro…

Hello everybody, my name is Nicolas, 43, from France. I'm the second owner of a red 90 TT manuel t-top 300Zx, bought 3 months ago in France. I already loved the car when i was 15, but when it's yours that's on another level. As my little one says : "it's class" "it's red" "it goes super fast", a fair lady with a demon inside!

Hi all, Bought a Z just over a month ago which from my research seems to have previously belonged to @winnoze on here. It's been via Scotland and Kent on its way to me in the Cotswolds over the last couple of years so I've spent the last few weeks giving it some much needed TLC, getting it back on the road and am looking forward to enjoying it over the summer!

First off. I want to appreciate the 300ZX Owners Club for accepting me and letting me in. So the story behind this car begins... This car used to belong to one of my uncles' buddy a few years ago and asked me If I wanted to buy the car, but at the time I did not have the funds, so I told one of my friends about the car and he hopped on that opportunity and bought the car back in 2020. My friend then called me a week ago letting me know that he was moving to Pennsylvania and that he had to let go of the car before he moved and I bought back from him. I was informed that everything in this car was the original twin turbo model so without a doubt I just laid down the money a…

Good Afternoon All. Thanks for having me, it’s great to finally be a Z32 owner, I’ve always loved the look of them, such beautiful machines. I picked up mine yesterday. Was hoping to find a TT manual in my price range but ended up settling for a 1995 Manual Naturally Aspirated. I’m not sure if I’ll keep it N/A or not, it’s a nice drive, a few creaks but in nice condition overall. I’m looking forward to wasting all my hard earned cash on it over time and seeing what I can do with it. And I’m looking forward to reading through the forums, getting ideas and tips, and hopefully I’ll meet some of you in the near future. I’ll be “documenting” the cars journey on instagram, @kyo…

Hi, New member to the forum, but I'd confess I've lurked off and on for quite awhile. Currently calling Maryland, USA home but being an Army veteran and having traveled around so much, that could change in the future. Long time owner 26 years and member of various Z forums (Twinturbo.net, 300zxclub.com, etc), clubs, etc. Former Nissan technician for multiple years, performance race shops and the like around the area. I've owned my fair share of Z32 300ZXs ('94 2+2 (1st - Sold), '94 2+0 TT (2nd - Sold), '93 Slicktop (Current), '91 Slicktop (Current- Track car WiP), '90 2+0 (Restoration Project -Sold), '90 2+0 (Current Parts Car), and also a '92 Skyline GT-R), and have…

Hi all, I have just started the process of purchasing a 1992 Z32 and am very excited (picking it up next week if all goes well!) Just want to say hello to everyone and I am hoping to get involved in the community once I get my head into the car. Very keen to get some advice and tips starting out as to work I should look to do on the car early and parts/tools that are a must have to deal with issues that come up. The car is about 40,000 miles and apparently had a timing belt change at 32/35k (can't remember which right now) so that does reduce my stress a bit on that issues. Would probably just get it done around 60,000 still so I'm in line with the normal servicing cycle …

Hi All I have just bought a 1992 red auto Fairlady. I am really looking forward to getting it out. First silly question, how do I get the key out of the ignition. What am I doing wrong. I have tried foot on brake etc but no luck. Second question, it has only got one key with it. Where can I get spares cut? Third, how do I send a PM regarding my membership. Thanks
