The top one is the one ive got on my car-the exact one! The 'nismo' one looks ike they have cut the bottom half of a R33 400 bumper and stuck it under a stock one!

Thankfully this hasnt come up on my car but it has on my mates car-unfortunately he hasnt got Net access so im hoping somebody can help him.... Basically reported poor performance so got him to do an ECU check that resulted in a code 34 What i need to know is the location of the connectors for the Det sensor so we can check these before fearing the worst... Any pics for the above? Also what are the options for replacement/bypass if it does turn out to be the sensor. Thanks in advance... Adam

That connector on top leads to the MAF BTW. You will be keeping that part....til you go for engine management lol!

Ebay for a start... Easy to fit-take off nose panel and you will find the airbox which you will need to take off then filter should come with an adapter to fit to you MAS (MAF)

I would recommend Apexi for around 80 quid Though i have a K&N at the moment. Forget HKS as I have found them well are overpriced. You will only need one filter by the way Remember you my need to modify your splash guard to make it fit and some people have experienced problems with the MAF when using a vented nose panel unless you make a cover to stop the water dropping onto the filter. As i said some people have had their own probs with some filters but i would say Induction is the way to go for sure!

I keep going in and out of safety boost on a ECU code 55. Ive changed the temp sender unit and it has made a bit of a difference as now it happens less often. Im changing the connector for it as well as its broken.Im sure it will be this but just in case it isnt the causre what else could cause safety boost with a code 55?And how can i resolve it?
