Hey everyone! as you can see i just registered. Well i currently own a 1995 Camaro Z28 with the LT1 350ci engine. I love the car. But since I was little I have always loved the 300zx's with a passion (Z32's). And so im thinking of getting one. where i live my camaro is worth about the same as a z32 tt.

 

but what i want to know is just some general stuff about the cars. like the body. what parts are plastic, fiberglass, metal etc. just so i know what parts to look for rust when i go hunting for one. as well are there ne issues with the factory turbos going bad? so yeah just give me some general info on the cars, cause i don't know much about them yet. thanx!

not sure about canada, but here in the uk there is a lot of crappy ones about, so beware when buying and i hope you get a good one, then im sure you will not be dissapointed

thanx, yeah im from manitoba, fairly close to toronto. i've been looking in the auto trader, trying to find a z32 tt with the 5 spd. yeah im sorta scared, don't wanna get a dud. but ill check it out good and hard to make sure its all good.

Hello mate, one of the members here, Apollo 32 has recently moved out to Canada. I believe he is looking at shipping his Zed out there.

Look at the rear arches for rust seem to go there first.

you can..with exception tho. it has to be at least 15 years old. so a 91 and older is legal. but i wanna get a left hand drive one theres about a dozen for sale in canada. but finding a 5spd tt thats in good shape really narrows it down :(

 

for the heck of it, have ne of ya ever raced ne of the newer camaros (93-97 LT1 V8) or (98-02 LS1 V8) I'm pretty sure a Z32 could keep up with an LS1, and edge out an LT1 ever so slightly.
