Where did you get the pulleys from bud? What make are they? I can only seem to find AMS ones for the 89-94 car, I was looking for polished ones like yours.

I remember that one of the zeds was sold up in Northern Ireland for £13,000 back in '05.

Ok so, If I was to get a 9.5" front and 10.5" rear in 18"s what offsets would I require mate and what size tires would be needed?? Thanks Jimmy Richie

Thanks Jimmy, What do you reckon would be the best fitment in 18" or 19" to bring the wheels out to the edge, I'm looking to spend big money on wheels so I can't afford to make mistakes, I'll be getting the rear arches flared out a bit if that helps, at present I'm running on 19" TSW Catalunya's 8.5" front and 9.5" rear, The fronts sit in too far, I'm not sure of the offsets. I'm thinking of getting the engine rebuilt with forged Rods & Pistons:cool3: Where would I get the best deal for a good reliable package?? Z1 motorsport do packages, I was just wondering where you guys get your stuff from and a rough cost for the parts required. Thanks Richie

Yeah Chris I know, I think they were too expensive the last time I looked, Not sure though on pricing at present. I also didn't think they were wide enough. Just looked £571 :wacko:

Has anyone tried to put a RB26 engine into a 300zx?? How much would a decent one of these cost??

Fecked if I know!! As said earlier I was looking for a price for a new engine from Nissan as that would be the route the insurance company would probably go. If it was too expensive or couldn't be gotten they might settle with the book price of the car. I could then see about getting it back as there is no damage to bodywork etc. and then use the funds to finance an engine rebuild AGAIN!!. I hope that it would work out either way as they get paid enough money for my premium.

Thanks Gary, I'm hoping they'll organise something, It's a shame to have to scrap a good car, As i said earlier i'd be hoping they'd give it back to me and i'll get a different engine rebuilt.

:eek:I was looking at that!! :eek:We're in a reccession at the moment bud. I'll see what the insurance wants to do and if its a no-go with them, I'll just have to rebuild an old engine again, I know where there's one that overheated but didn't seize so we could rebuild that one maybe. The reason I was asking about new engines from Nissan is because I'd reckon that would be the route the insurance would go for quotes to fix. If they write it off do i try and get it back or should I spend a few quid on my Evo 8 :rolleyes:
