  1. Will have to start looking for other problems then. Any ideas? Havn`t tested the servo yet. Mark
  2. Well if those figures are correct all I can say is there is still something wrong with mine. Have replaced or overhauled most parts. Did they ever work properly when the car came out of the factory??? Mark
  3. Not quite right. The previous A4`s brakes were designed before 1995.So more like 5 or 6 years difference. But you are still missing the point.I also sometimes drive a 1988 golf and those brakes are better than the nissans.I still think this is the poorest system I`ve come across.Shame really as I love driving the car but the brakes are a big let down. Mark
  4. I think there is about 5 red ones in the surrounding area. Mark
  5. Well you can have good brakes at all speeds. I cant fault the A4`s - they are excellent at all speeds. Mark
  6. Speaking for myself - I feel the brakes are very very poor at all speeds. Iv`e got an A4 Tdi and the brakes are ten times better.I know it is a high compression diesel and you will get more servo assistance - but the nissan I feel should be alot better than this. Mark
  7. I replaced all four discs.New seal kits etc. for the calipers.New pads. New s/s braided lines.New brake fluid. And then bled them about six times. And they are still shite. Will give them another few weeks of gently bedding them in and then have a rethink. Oh and new pistons in the master cylinder. Antbody got any other ideas?? Mark
  8. I`ll give these guys the thumbs up too. I`ve always had good service from them. Best advice I can give is - email them and phone them. Coz Ceh is the boss and he`s just come back from his honeymoon , so he should be in a good mood!! Mark
  9. Hi Danny Thats what I thought - but they are both brand new from nissan and different part nos.The only difference I can see is they have different Bosche part nos on the sensor - but that doesn`t help.Cables are exactly the same length! Mark
  10. Hi Am just changing the sensors - 2 brand new ones. Same cable length. Does it matter which way round they go. Are they sided or not? Mark
  11. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=29904 Have you looked in here Mark
  12. Best news for a long time. The good news - it`ll take less than five mins to get there. The bad news - the engine wont even be warm!!! I think it makes sense - you could fit about 10 Billings into the showground! Anybody that has been to the BMF or other event there will know. Mark
  13. Just over 3 years - and will keep it till I can afford a 355. Even then might still keep it - who knows. Mark
  14. Yeah i think thats what it means. Probably have to go for one of the classic`s insurance. Mark
  15. Looks like they have changed their policy. Rang them today and they said they wont give agreed value on anything newer than 1989 and they will only insure cars individually! Rang some others - no good. Will keep ringing around and keep you posted. Mark
  16. Thanks again guys - will do some ringing round. Mark
  17. That sounds impressive. And more or less exactly what I need. Thanks Mark
  18. ok guys thanks - but what sort of figure did they put the agreed value at - just to give me an idea. Thanks Mark
  19. Hi Anybody got an agreed value insurance that they may be able to recommend. Cheers Mark
  20. You could always ask people to get you a radar detector for xmas Mark
  21. http://www.ukspeedtraps.co.uk worth a look through Mark
  22. Doh - never thought of that. Cheers Clarkey Mark
  23. Anybody know/remember where I could find the spec. of that well known record breaker - which I think still stands - unless you know better. Cheers Mark
  24. Alex Somebody on here has removed them cleaned them and put them back and I remember it was a sucess - its a lot of work though. Or you could get new ones from courtesyparts.com - not that expensive. Try a search or ask who did it as a thread title. Worth a try. Mark
