Russ I am afraid you are going to buy a duffer. You obviously have your own set views and wont be swayed by what many knowledgable people say on here. What will the AA/RAC tell you for £300-500 ? No diagnostic software is going to help you choose a good car. If you want help you have got lots of it on here. If you dont want help - good luck as I think you will need it! Mark

Russ Tip 1 Dont buy a Z32 from a dealer (unless you know that particular car) Tip 2 Buy a known car from somebody on this forum Tip 3 Take somebody else who knows Z32`s along to look at the car. Tip 4 Go and have alook at scott zx 9r `s car - sounds good to me totally sorted for 5K ! You could pay alot more for a worse car You wont find a dealer selling you a car that is "totally sorted Mark

Ian Advertise it at £5995 and see what happens If after a while there are no takers drop it to £5495 Or something along those lines. You could always try ebay or the autotrader mag. Mark

Martin I have had dealings with turboactive.com tel. 01429-294004 I found them to be very honest and helpful. You can send and receive the turbos very cheeply. I think they are based in Hartleepool. Cant remember the guys name but give them a ring and they will give you all the options. Mark

Paul Iv`e been told my car is still set up for R12 Can you tell me the cost,parts needed,and whats involved for a conversion.Shame I can`t get someone to refill with R12! Cheers Mark

Well anybody who goes on that show deserves what they get. I mean what did they think he was going to say. " Oh I love these cars and what lovely beards you gentlemen have" Get real - thats how the fat smoker with jeans earns his money. He`ll tell you himself - he doesn`t know anything about cars. That never stopped the AA or RAC from making money and it wont stop him. Try not to miss the point - the programme is Clarkson and not cars - alot of people seem to get confused. Mark

ok guys will try lubricating the idle valve. Throttle bodies are fine - I gave them a good clean. Devil - I think all vac pipes are ok - cant find any leaking! Performance wise car is good, goes like ****. Vac. gauge is working fine. Mark

No fault codes coming up. Iv`e cleaned all elec. plugs and connectors at front of engine still no good. What are TBs ? Have checked/cleaned that harness looks ok! Mark

Not the end of the world just annoying more than anything. Idles ok when cold.When hot sometimes hunts between 500 and 1000 rpm. Also ,sometimes when coming to a roundabout or junction will cut out and stall - always restarts no problem. Anybody come across this problem before? Am I right in thinking its the tps? Anybody? Jana No the sensor is the device that makes your temp. gauge show engine temp. Ask another guy with same car as you to show you where it is. Or go to a garage you can trust and ask them to show you. You are close to a great source of parts at courtesyparts.com Do you use them - I send off every 2/3 months for something! Mark

As said previously - completely flush out system. You want to end up with clear water running through your rad. Not brown sludge! Make sure your water pump ,thermostat ,and all hoses are ok. Make sure your fan is running at correct speed. And change your temperature sensor - there cheap! Mark

Would be interesting to know from anyone that has had the same turbos for years, what they do, or dont as the case may be. I personally look at my watch and give the car 5 mins. ticking over. Perhaps I am wrong - so far so good though. Anybody had the same turbos for years?? Mark

One thing to remove it - just try putting it and all the pipework back in place and tightening it all up to the specified torque! Having done it Iwould say bite the bullet and pull the engine. So much more you can do with the engine out. Could save you alot of work in the future! Perhaps with one exception - if you are fixing it to get rid of quick. Otherwise pull the engine. Mark

Have you noticed how many people on this forum are dyslexic? Well, I think thats what its called , you know when they get the words mixed up ie; if you were religious you might believe in dog - just an observation or perhaps its me? Mark

Anyone whupped a 350Z yet? Saw one a couple of days ago on the other side of dual-carriageway - by the time I`d got there - the bugger had gone!! It was that shitty bronze colour - I think its the only colour they do them in - kak! Mark

Absolutely Iv`e been using diesel for years and Iv`e never had a problem. In fact I`m just off to the garage now. Mark

My advice : Take them to the vets and ask the nice vet man to put them down It will save a fortune in eggs and the neighbours will like you cos` your`e being responsible. You know its the best thing for them. Mark

It`s not the problem you think it is. Iv`e got diesel injectors in my car and it all works great. I dont know why more people havn`t done it. Well worth it for the economy. Mark
