  6. How important is it to change these. Engines been rebuilt but not sure if they were done. Wanted to put all the cambelt etc back on this weekend, or would it be worth waiting to get some VVT springs and do them as well.
  7. When I got my house they knocked 10k off the asking price then I offered another 10k lower. They raised me 1k. So 19k cheaper, bargain!! The people where desperate to move, so they practically took whatever.
  8. You can get that underseal stuff from halfords.
  9. Aparantely you can do it with the cambelt on still. Theres a few things to take off, like the rad, fan. I got all the front end off my engine at the moment and it wasnt hard to do.
  10. You'll have to wait till its tested properly. Like I said, my results where totally different!
  11. How many years since you got a ban?
  12. All 6 plugs have to be out. Engine warm. Turn over 6 or 8 times till the needle wont go any higher, and must have throtle to the floor. I did mine on the front 4 only and had 130.(left the back to plugs in) Did it properly then had 150 except the no.6 (back right) which had 90 and was f***ed. Did wet on no.6 and it was 150, so the rings where fooked. Getting to the back ones doesnt take long at all, just gotta take the balance bar off and a couple of pipes.
  13. Least you got a nice big space to do it though!!!! Just gotta remeber where all those bolts/plugs and all that go!!
  14. I only told my companies for 5 years, as they ask for convictions for the last 5 years.
  15. About 4 years on your license. Tell insurance for 5 years.
  16. My insurance company said I didnt have to tell them till I renew.
  17. As I had mine off, gave them to the maties in the polishing bay at work and they said it was sh1te material and wont polish very good. But you lot have done it, so what have you done?
  18. That does look sh1te!!!!!!!1
  19. How the f**k you find that, lol!! Its damn cool
  20. Im changing my ilders at the moment. Cant a measurement be taken and press em back to the same position. Gotta say I havnt taken mine off yet, just noticed they are fooked, so gonna buy new ones. Ill cross any probs when I get to it, doh!!
  21. Yep, they need heat bedding in. I get mine so hot they are smoking when stopping. I've never done it till they stop working (green fade) cause im too scared, lol. But when they cool down they are amazing. You want to do this as soon as they are in too!!!!!
