  1. I like cajun curly fries myself...
  2. Friday, putting engine together. Saturday, working. sunday, putting engine together.
  3. I read a lot of auto box's fooking up, but then people come on here to ask questions when the fook up, not to say they are working. But I have to say, it seems to be more auto than manual.
  4. Just went through the yellow pages. Hes local and doubt if he would come right up there anyway.
  5. Wooohoooo, I need to sort my wheels out. They antera's and have some sorta plastic rim thats not very chrome looking anymore.
  6. Thanks for all the tips, will get them bolted down on friday afternoon.
  7. I think some people have, but a lot of people havent. Im going to use them as I have bought them now!!! I bet they didnt fit them properly!
  8. http://300zx.co.uk/tech/BuyingZ.htm
  9. Looking at engine, the left one. The wires just been chopped. Like I said, engine seemed to be running fine. Well, till it blew coolant everywhere, lol.
  10. I've dropped a manual box that wasnt that hard. I think the torque convertor makes the auto box a little harder, but not 100% sure.
  11. convertables are only NA arnt they?? as standard?
  12. ill be back when I come to plug it in!!!!
  13. Dont worry about all that, how much ££££ you earn a year, lol. standard clutch is around 300bhp. I guess your on about the cam 'belt'... A guess on box, 500bhp? Short wheel base is spose to be the most desirable. i prefer the look of the LWB myself. LWB has 4 seats, if your really small and can fit in the back. SWB 2 seats. No difference in engine, just TT's and NA's. Some SWB have slicktops (no targa) more rigid, better handling, but I prefer the targas for summer!
  14. Only prob was, I dunno if theres a plug the other end for it, lol. Pm'd anyway!
  15. I know, its just you read that other people still put it on and then it gets you thinking, lol. Maybe thats why theirs fail and then they main cometic sucks!
  16. I did mine. Its not too bad a job. Door cards are a little tricky (had some help from people that had done it before) Dont take the tweed off the door cards, just cover straight over, cause the tweed is sponge backed and if you peel it off, you will rip bits of sponge out and not have a smooth surface. The worse bit is trying to remember where all the screws go to hold all the interior back together, lol. Oh and the little bit to the left of the glove box is tricky to get creases out of too!
  17. There may be something in there, but didnt want to disturb the packaging! I've just read about them on what they say to do. They say they have a special coating on them to help seal.
  18. One on each side at the back. One of mine has the wire chopped. Obviously the cars been running like that and seems ok. Shall I just leave it running on the one or shall I sort it so both run. Dont wanna put the rocker covers on and have to take them off again! I have standard cam pulleys. Oh and cams as far as I know.
  19. They say no, but some people say yes. Opinions just fook everything up
  20. Decisions decisions, lol.........i know my cars gonna fook up again..... :headvswal
  21. Its running 400bhp. But I was told it was a 1.2mm h/g What size is the OEM? Also, I need 88mm as I have forged Je 87.5mm pistons. Do the OEM ones have different bore sizes?
  22. I payed £80 to have mine taken from Southampton to Swindon.
  23. Would you say use copper spray or not?
