  1. i haven't heard 1 good feed back from that place... i really hope it all gets sorted bud without any loss. i'v been in a similar boat and remember the emotions well... a car is generally the second most expensive financial investment you ever make, mix that with pride and joy and i think lorenzo's suggestion is fitting! absolutely gutted for you and the others put through all this... chin up matey
  2. wow the only mod is side mount intercoolers... i need to look at getting me some side mount intercoolers...
  3. yes alan... they are 350z discs,324mm.
  4. less is definately more... will be refreshing to see some more subtly modified zeds about. most of the zeds i have seen with the sort of investment yours has had seem be thoughtlessly overdone.
  5. yes mate... il text him now :)
  6. measure the thickness of the disc...
  7. best speak to krsmayo as he had that setup...
  8. makes my willy look bigger mate!
  9. i'm pretty sure that the evo brembos require 350z discs Alan.
  10. i'd be interested in taking the lot... how much are we talking?
  11. i'v always been of the opinion that gtr brembos are the way forward... 6-700 quid is about the going rate for all 4 calipers with discs and pads. so you get a brake upgrade that's balanced all round and they won't nob up your abs...
  12. lol... what a mission that was! car has been in the garage and not touched since early november... turned on ignition but the psu wont allow boot below a certain voltage, sure enough it was too low so had to dig around for the charger and extension lead. nevertheless, as requested (not sure why the first pic prtsc came out grainy but you get the idea): datascan on dashboard mode... the dials can be setup to represent any of the parameters but my zed is still in km's so i have the mph on and not long before it came off the road for the winter i fitted a koyo rad... thus the water temp: this is datascan in data display mode... as above, the dials can be set to whatever parameter you wish: and finally... datascan in data display, full screen mode. although the touchscreen facility appears pointless in this mode, i can still control the pc through my 'idrive' style control knob where the ashtray used to live: all the colours have been chosen so that they are the same as the stock dials. this is currently skinned within centrafuse 2, however, this spring/summer i intend to upgrade to centrafuse3 and nds dash to give myself more of headache! i still havent finished the centre console surround coz i'm lazy :( had it all finished and looking good with my last monitor (which blew up and bought a different brand) so have to do it al again with this 1... will look better though, its set in deeper and at a better angle. why did you want to see by the way?
  13. i'm running a full carputer setup with centrafuse front end... i don't recommend it though! far too much time and effort required and that 3k budget will get blown out the window for an sq system... check my rides for spec
  14. lol that did sound a bit derogatory huh!.. didn't mean anything by it
  15. this is my definative opinion on reasonably priced range audio equipment: components up front: Focal subwoofer: JL Audio Amps: Genesis you do not need rear speakers as you will ruin the sound.. a decent SQ system is all about sound staging and if setup properly with the above, you can't lose. for the most 'sound' advice  go to http://www.talkaudio.co.uk forums
  16. how does the ride comfort feel.. is it harsh and bonucy? must be a major difference from stock in the ride quality?
  17. do you have any opinion on the miesterR coilovers?
  18. that's exactly the point... those puppies are around 1400 quid+ ... the next person who has spent half that price on, say, HSD's would quote... so are yours actually better in the performance? i appreciate the r&d and the use of more exotic materials to give lower unspring weight but is this a fact? how much do monoflex' weigh compared to HSD? yassa, you say build material and quality... are you then saying that your friend at meisterR is building cheapo quality components?
  19. What makes 1 set of coilover better than another? There is such a vast choice of manufacturers available for a range of prices. The job they do is fairly simple and they all seem to have adjustable damping and rebound levels... so, if they all have these attributes, how can 1 be better than another? :cowboy:
