  1. happy days vig... in the same boat myself... il send ya my cv!
  2. chrikey guys... some wild offers there! im flattered by all the offers flying around but i wouldnt wanna rob you with them prices..
  3. very nice matey... good to see you went for the pop up light model... much tastier looking than the newer shape imo
  4. feel free to make me an offer :D
  5. and it would have to be a manual as my box has crunched ever since it came out of pauls yard! its quite a good master plan really!
  6. i never made that clear... even if i did buy a tt, the engines would be swapped to keep my jimmer prepared engine so i may aswell get an na.
  7. iv kinda come to terms with the red... i do still prefer my old grey one as i prefer a more understated look. i definately want to get it repainted soon, whether it be the same colour or a different colour but i think my biggest problem is that im a fussy t**t whos never happy! i have always lusted after a swb and i dont really wanna commit the cash to a paint job on a lwb until im sure. i think il buy myself a swb n/a manual just to smoke around in for a while and get a feel for the car... then i can decide which 1 to keep.
  8. got my eye on an n/a slicktop and another coming up for sale in the spring. i would want an n/a as they dont fetch as much to start and it also saves me from sourcing an n/a rear end... id swap the engines and hey presto!
  9. if i did it would be stripped of all the toys and prolly be an n/a...
  10. iv already got an estate car for the dogs... i dont need 2!
  11. muhahaha... i can vote really obscure times to nob up the poll :p but i wont! :cowboy:
  12. its not just the performance aspect of the swb... i think it looks better!
  13. if you remove the switchgear front of the pod youll find the the mounting point for the hazard switch is broken. finding a non broken will prove tricky and it will break again! best bet is to carry out a little mod to secure it properly
  14. theres only 1 place for tyres... and thats camskill. 107 quid each delivered for your 452s (shit tyres :devil2::tt2:) in 265/35/18 http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m61b0s66p6222
  15. hazard switch... give it a wiggle
  16. so what your saying is... stop fookin about and buy a slicktop you damn fool?
  17. so the shorter wheel base makes it handle better? i can appreciate the stiffer chassis making improvements but will a swb targa handle as well as a lwb targa on an average uk 'trackday track'?
  18. me think you right... just trying to warrant it to myself...
  19. then why didnt they make a lwb slicktop... most racing teams that used the z32 used the lwb model.. dave, what are the main reasons for you choosing the slicktop for track use other than the weight?
  20. i ordered some pads for my r33 brembos from them a few days ago... they arrived before i got the email from them saying the item has been dispatched! excellent prices, super service and i even got some maoam sweets :D
  21. Iv been around here for some time now and have got to know the 300zx and its history fairly well, however, there are some questions that i'v never really seen any literature on to tell me why... i thought it would make an interesting discussion. why did they make lwb zeds why did they make swb zeds why did they make slicktop zeds why was the na not available in the uk why was the swb not available in the uk why were lwb tts not available in the us were slicktops available in the us? if not, why not why do uk specs have heated seats and jdm have folding mirrors the first 3 are my biggest interest for this discussion. i appreciate the obvious views on these regarding domestic market demands and performance characteristics but it all seems a bit random. is there any testing evidence to support opinions of how the different models compare?
  22. terrible idea :ban: :tt2:
  23. how much?.. im gonna hazard a guess at £60ish ?
