  1. you will be able to get an idea by measuring the offset... firstly you will need to find the exact centreline of the wheel width (for example, if its a 10" wide rim you need to mark the rim 5" in from the edge)... the offset is a measurement in mm from that mark to the mounting point of the wheel. if you lay a 12" steel rule, flat on the faying surface of the wheel and mark the rim ensuring the steel rule has remained straight, you can then measure the offset fairly accurately.
  2. they should be stamped on the inside of the rim chap...
  3. happy birthday honey :D

  7. http://www.vic-ltd.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=2854&products_id=12021 thats a very good price for the spec tbh, them intel atom boards are the nuts. if you make one yourself you will have to buy a screen separate and it will soon mount up. a good all-in-one hassle free install. see my rides for my carpc install... on hand for any advice should you need it :D one thing i will say is you dont need a super duper fast machine as its not needed, its only a mobile media player so dont waste your money on super quick machines that will flatten your battery in 5mins!
  8. LOL... no its not a vertical valve! my main concern is prevention of damp problems because of the breached cavity... i think expanding fomis the way to go
  9. houx annex aye... posh git! blue south is where the action is at
  10. yeh... i'd be interested to hear one that doesnt sound like it. there is a company near me who fabricate exhausts.. they would supply and fit it. centre section would be the ideal place.
  11. i'm afraid to say that fooked mate... completely rotten... i'll be round 2moro to pick it up... its for the best!
  12. yes annoying isnt it! i'm on my 2nd zed now... my first had a mongoose on when i bought it (which did the same on idle) and my current zed which i bought 1 for even with the odd idle noise! mainly for the looks and the not so noisy cruising noise. i always put it down to it being a 3 cylinder engine on idle noise... as there is no H or X pipe, the exhaust runs are seperate the whole way along so you just hear 2 3 cylinder engines, with a higher rpm it becomes less evident because of the frequency of the noise. have you noticed it sounds awesome on idle from cold when the rpm is a little higher? it has been my intention for along time to get a H pipe fitted as i think this will sort the noise out nicely...
  13. i'm in bedford fairly regularly :D
  14. im having a year off this year but zogg is going and i believe lisa and dave might be going again also...

  16. apart from the bit that says 'Price is for one unit (Two shown in the pictures)' :tongue_smilie:
  17. I'm currently getting all the plumbing in place to install a new bathroom which will have a concealed 3 way bath/shower mixer valve. This morning i have channelled out the hole to fit the concealed shower valve, however, the valve required a 110mm recess and the blockwork is only 130mm. I chain drilled the outline to the correct depth but inevitably when chiselling i found myself into the cavity (the top middle part was the top corner of a block that fell off! otherwise it would have been a fairly neat cut). My question is basically... does this matter or should i fill the void? the wall will be tiled and the shower valve controls mount around a steel plate as per the outline in the pic. Also, the fittings for the pipework are very deep in the walls, would the best solution be to put a 90degree fitting coming back out and then a second 90degree fitting to run just inside the wall? Any advice welcomed :D
  18. the archives must be nearly full with birthday wishes for you vinz  happy birthday dude...
  19. yeh, as tg says simon does have a higher offset wheel with spacers to get it right. if they are what you want at a good price then they are worth a gamble tbh, if if doesn't work out you can sell em on. you can call arch enemy out to sort the arches out if it catches or play around with tyre widths if you dont mind a slight stretch...
  20. then you want et20 front with 235/40/18 tyres and et35 on the rear with 265/35/18 (though you should get away with et32) so, leave the rears as they are and get some 10mm hubcentric spacers for the fronts.
  21. they are alot easier and i know they say wide viewing angles etc but they still give an intense light at the bulb rather than a nice even light pattern across the whole cluster.
  22. black 1 is marco's... lovely zed
