Also there is a random weight bolted to the inside of the bootlid!

Although I think they only do swb. Understandable really, if you're trying to save weight, why bother with a family estate car!

Fit one to your zed Gary so I don't like it anymore and stop stalking you (no offence Baz!)

Suggestion for Members' trading
IMO... 99% of trading on here goes smoothly, for the sake of the 1% that doesn't why mess up the rest and burden voluntary members of the committee, not just to pick sides of a dispute but to babysit every transaction that takes place? I agree that the template idea may smooth out some of the disputes (although i find that advertising on, for example, zclub.net a bit of a pain and too 'red tape ish'! Maybe because I'm used to the simplicity of advertising on here)

Mongoose Catback
Judging from your avatar, yours is a UK spec? Which means one of your downpipes (cant remember which side) has a precat which doesn't match the downpipe opposite. I seem to recall from my UK spec that you will need to fit a JDM downpipe from the offending side in order to fit these decats.

You may have the newest zed... It could have been built at 1900hrs. It's only a day old! Received my bits with thanks Gary :)

Just be aware that the japspeed decats have to be fitted to japspeed divorced downpipes otherwise they won't fit. Unless of course it's different to all the japspeed decats I've seen.

speed sensor help
The steering is heavier at higher speeds so no doubt they are related, maybe a dodgy mph conversion causing issues?

Treated my Zed :)
The oem trim on them recaros really is dull and dreary huh, excellent transformation, they look tasty.

Any chance of some more 300zx.co.uk stickers and some calling cards?

Pearlesent white zed
I believe that JDM cars aren't protected underneath as well as UK cars as they don't salt the roads over there. This car has been in the country since 1990 (longer than most UK spec zeds!), not only that but it's covered 250,000 miles so I doubt it's been a Sunday fun in the sun car :) Imports are generally considered as rust free when they arrive but give them a few winters in the salt without proper protection and it's likely they will be just as bad if not worse than the equivalent UK spec.

New parts for my zed
You're spending a fair bit on this car Gary, considering you're selling it to me shortly?

Pearlesent white zed
contraversial!

Pearlesent white zed
Looks tasty that, other than being about 8" too long... Although I can't stand that style of side skirt with the pointless silly hole! Buyer beware on the bad bits though, sounds like it has some rust issues...

what EBC do you use?
I have no experience with these myself but I asked the question to Charlie @ Surrey rolling road who works with these day in day out, he said, without hesitation, that the avcr is by far the most reliable.

help on wheels
The rota gtr is available in 19" but only 19x9 et20 (good for the fronts) and 19x10 et20. So until they produce a higher offset for the 19x10 (et35?) they are not really an option unless you like this crazy stretched tyre, negative camber malarky!

Uk zed
You may aswell buy it and sell yours...

help on wheels
Agreed, the offset figures are just as important as the width and tyre size, do a bit of research as for the wheel you are after there are many examples of it fitted in the different offsets available. I prefer the concave design of the 9.5" width rim, the 8.5" rim looks too flat imo. The 9.5" up front et30, I believe will fit with a nice offset but deffo do a bit of research :) If you still want them staggered and want the 8.5" up front they are available in a multitude of offsets.
