  1. Silver H reg NA 2+2 spotted at Freeport Braintree, around 15:30 on Wednesday 10th. Looked pretty stock other than a racey style bolt on rear spoiler. Was it you?
  2. Tunnel runs, convoys (ie Boxhill to Brighton run). I do like the static shows but similarly to you, not for too long, I'd like to attend some of the Motorsport versions but don't really know much about them...
  3. I think Simon's apology would go a long way into a committee decision, but he still has to follow procedure of sending the email.
  4. Joely P replied to jaffa's topic in Events - UK
A MEO is an excellent idea in my opinion. Finding a candidate that attends at least some of these events and has the time to take this on will be the issue?
  5. This is a mirror image of the permanent ban review thread!
  6. Looks similar to the college boys z :)
  7. The profile of the front tyres should be 40 otherwise the tyre walls will be different sizes. To confirm you need: Front 235/40-18 Rear 265/35-18
  8. Today I started the 3rd and final phase of my mammoth underseal project that seems to be taking the whole of our summer, doh! So this phase is the front end, inner arches, radiator front mount and all that lovely stuff. Probably the easiest of the areas in some respects as it's a bit more 'comfortable' to work in. So everything comes off; undertrays, arch liners, wings, intercoolers, washer bottle, expansion etc... Naturally, I had several sheared studs/bolts, broken clips and all that extra work drilling stuff out thinking 'why did I start this ffs'! Prep any dry areas, thorough clean, penetrating wax then a coat of underbody wax before it all goes back. It was a good opportunity to finally fit my greddy intercoolers that have been in storage for probably 4 years now  The oem ducts are designed to bolt straight onto the greddys but I decided to fettle them a little to give a more efficient seal and fit around the front bumper inlets better. I know these other branded massively tall fandangled intercoolers are superior in performance to the greddys on paper but I still recall a test stateside that proved the greddys as best performer with the stock bumper utilising the ducts. With all the others you need extra air inlets and even then, the airflow needs to be ducted to force it through the matrix and not round the side. Tomorrow I will look into the options for alternate locations/parts for the washer bottle.
  9. You're missing a fan shroud matey :)
  10. I have zOCD, my tyres are all the same brand/model!
  11. Don't be silly, that's not likely is it  Everyone knows cows to nails are made of steak cut chips.
  12. Black cow, foggy night... Steak and chips for a month, bus to work!
  13. If you want rigidity whilst still adding lightness, Carbing is your best option. Although, real world differences without the 'whole package' of weight reduction and chassis stiffening, between the 2 types, I would have thought are negligible. Especially when considering the price comparison..
  14. What's all this stage 3 rubbish lol!... What mods did it have hehe :p
  15. Is it possible?
  16. It's clear to see that your gripe with Simon is personal, for that reason, I believe you shouldn't be allowed to vote on the subject. Your comments make a mockery of the full intent of this thread and to suggest that you would rather see a member unbanned who 'ripped off' other members for his own gain is outrageous my friend.
  17. :whistling: confirmed as working with forum runner :)
  18. If Mark looked like Michelle Pfeiffer, it wouldn't be a health check I'll be travelling up for... Not on the Z at least!
  19. Hats off to you buddy, exciting times :-) Have you ever seen the film 'dangerous minds'? Michelle Pfeiffer takes on a class of students, gives them all an A and they have to work hard to keep it. This is a kind of similar plot, you've taken on a business which is currently an 'A', all you have to do is keep it!
  20. Tell me about it! Although I'm only an Essex man for the location of work. Ironically, I was born and raised in Northants! Then moved to Beds, then Dorset, now I'm an Essex man :-(
  21. Are you going to continue the offer of a free health check to subscribed members Mark?
