  1. I did the self-check diagnosis but I didn't read how to do it right . Think it said the speed-sensor. I will ad a bit of fluid Joely, thnx. Mike
  2. Took mine for a spin yesterday and I was very happy when she started doing this: Yep, the clock was working, the hapiness didn't last long because after 5 minutes another light came on , the Hicas light. Power steering fel away too. Started her this morning and everything was fine again. Anyone have an idea? There is enough fluid in the PS. Mike
  3. Mine is not a UK car and have the p/s cooler too....might bin it some day to :-)
  4. I took some pic's today, t-tops look bronze and side+rear look blue. Front windshield is very difficult to tell. Anyone any idea? As far as I can tell, all are the original windows.
  5. It's a carcoal grey European car. Side windows and rear are defenetly blue. T-tops and front windshield look bronze. I'll take and post some pic's cause I really can't tell.
  6. Does anyone know if the glass is always the same tint all around? I have blue glass all around except the front windshield and t-tops. I'm 99% sure that the font windshield has never been replaced. Mike
  7. Took my Z for a drive yesterday night. I have to say that dismounting an opening up the headlight to clean them is a long and shitty job to do but the results are fenomenal. Even though the chrome on the reflector were a bit faded, due to the clean projector-lenses the headlight shine like they should now. Anyone tried those "Lumileds" from Philips yet? Mike
  8. OK, so here are the pic's I just made. The balm has been put on 3 hours now. I think the seats will need more then 1 treatment but they already feel and look realy nice and soft. The leather looks healthy again ( for being 26 y old). I hope the pic's show it good. BE CAREFULL!!! If you try to do as I, always try on a little surface WHICH IS NOT VISIBLE before doing the rest. I had nothing to lose because the leather was already in a bad shape and I couldn't care less if I had to do an interior overhaul.
  9. I did a little cleaning on my zed today. I read a trick on the web for cleaning old leather. So I did clean my seats ( wich I thought they were already) with some "soft-scrub" and a brush. The result was great. Look at the picture below. The water was really black. I changed the water 4 times and everytime it had the same color, and those were only the front seats. The leather is really clean now and feel completely different. Now it's time to threat them with some balm to get them soft again.
  10. I did swear a lot to my Zed today. Took the front bumper of and dismouted my headlights to clean them. The moet enoying job I ever did on a car so far. Took me 5 hours :glare: . Now it also clear the car is full of stuff it doesn't need. It's clear that the designer never thought of the guys who had to work on the car afterwards. And then there's those smic 's.....they can never work as they should because no airflow is possible with those tanks behind them. Nissan should have placed those in place of the useless AIV's..... But my headlight will be clean and I'll be able to see something at night again :D
  11. For me it's the right hand pod  Thx for the help.
  12. Thanks, by the pod you mean the command I suppose?
  13. Hello everyone, I have a '90 TT with the full automatic heating system. It's working like it should but I was wondering, would it be possible to (easy way) convert it to the later system where you can choose blowerspeed and blowdirection? Would it only take the ecu to change or is it much more complicated than that? Mike
  14. I did nothing to my Zed today, just took her for a spin an made a picture after the mod's I already did  Before: After:
  15. All cars speedo's are out......don't know in UK but here in Belgium is stated by law for car manufacturers that speedo's must be out +/- 10 kph.
  16. I don't like football either but I have to admit that my interest is growing with this national team. First time in many years with had such good players.
  17. Well, that's how it is presented to us by the media, just like some must think there's a civil war going on in Belgium between Flemish and Walloon people :-) I must have been mis-informed then :cool3:
  18. This "in or out" succeeded in only 1 thing yet: dividing the people in two camps, even friends.
  19. As I understood the structure is molded, how did you get it so smooth? Just sanded it? Like to know because a complete repaint is scheduled next season.
  20. In or out.... I'll still have to change my Euro's for pound's if I go to Schotland every 2 years :scooter:
  21. I want to have a engine rebuild done but threads like this make me doubt. Oh yes, the trader feedback section...... very few people have work done to their Zed apparantly :tongue_smilie:
  22. Hello guys. Ik can buy some 2nd hand wheels from a R33. The front need spacers though. The guy has some hubcentric spacers that bolt on but the original lugs are protuding out of the spacers so the wheels can't be mounted. What should I do. Buy shorter lugs or buy these : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/H-R-Spurverbreiterungen-15mm-fur-Nissan-Infiniti-200-SX-S14-300-ZX-Z32-350-Z-Z33-/381600421508?hash=item58d9285684:g:ADQAAOSw7n9XEiQw Thanks for the help.
  23. I have both....cats and pre-cats on both sides.
  24. Strange, as I have a Belgian TT and pre-cats on each side.
