I cleaned all the plastic from the back and the trunk. The result :nuke: 26 years of dust can make the water really dirty!!

Hi all, this winter I'll probably take out my engine to overhaul the turbo's. As the engine will be out I'll change alle gaskets, o-rings, oilseals, vacuum line's etc.. Now I can find a lot of all this things on E-bay. I was wondering if these were good quality or should I buy everything at a Nissan dealer? Same thing for al the silicon hoses, I see they mostely come from china, any good or better not to buy them? Greetz, Mike

Exhausts & turbo
I would like to buy a exhaust. Now I'm a bit confused because I think I read somewhere that the exhaust for a twin turbo "manual" won't fit a twin turbo "auto". Does this mean that the auto-gearbox takes up more space than the manual? I guess I can at least install the mufflers and the X-tubes? I problably will refurbish my turbo's in the winter. Is it true that the turbo's on a "auto" are different then the one's on a "manual"? If so, does anybody knows what turbo's are on the "auto" so I know wich revision kit to buy? Thanks, Mike

Did some work today, spoiler is off and the rear interior is completely stripped. Cleaning can begin :shifty: The only downside is that I found some rust on the drivers side sill at the rear wheel. SHould I put a self made plate in it or buy the knew sill?

Hi Guys, as promised her are some pic's. At the moment I'm dismanteling the interior for cleaning and checking for rust. Seems that it had got a "Dinitrol wax" threatment so didn't found any rust in the sill's and the underbody. Only a bit of rust in the trunk because the spare wheel rubs the paint with the vibration and some water coming in the trunk via the rear wing and the rear wiper rubber. The big wing on the trunk is one of the first thing to go. Original one to cause it's rotten. If I decide to keep is, engine goes out in the winter for a ebuild and a knew wiring loom. Feel free to comment, critisise, suggest......

Hey Diederik, please let me know how it goes for the registration. If it works without problem's I might consider selling my LWB and find myself a SWB

Welcome Diederik. Nice ride. Any luck getting that car registred in Belgium? I also wanted a swb but couldn't wait 8 months to do the 'Gelijkvormigheidsprocedure" and just bought a Belgian car instead. Greetz, Mike
