  1. If no one else posts these photos I will in a couple of days. I'm going to put my swb na together a bit more. You are subbed now so you can put a sale post up in the parts section, and remember to send a PM to gary with all the info etc. :) Also you haven't introduced yourself properly yet? You could put a newbie post up introducing yourself and what the mischievous plan is ;)
  2. As in rubbery stuff. Like they come in. I've done it, but I don't know how durable it would be from grit and stuff abrasing it away.
  3. You can powder coat with plastic instead of paint. Heat it up and dunk it into a pot of plastic powder and it melts onto it.
  4. Happy birthday Russ.
  5. JDM wheels, same all the way around
  6. lol who said shiny, I hate the goody chrome engine bays (no offense peeps), I would probably scratch and dent it to bits so it would look horrible. I havent decided but probably a satin black or metallic black so it doesn't stand out too much.
  7. I did, but that isn't very constructive. No offense taken though
  8. Here's the thing, I would much prefer something like dougal's setup, really clean and neat: But really I do not want to delete everything as the HICAS, cruise control, AC are all important features of the car, and useful too. Its really just to cover up the exposed wiring and pipes that i deem take away from the aesthetics of the bay. Regarding cooling, does the hicas solenoid really need airflow? On the other side is just the fusebox and its not in the way of cooling the engine, so does airflow really matter? Here's what it looks like at the moment:
  9. Since I've always hated how messy these engine bays are, and not wanting to delete hicas etc. I am making covers for them, make them from 1mm steel I guess? Thoughts?
  10. It's probably based on your search history :p Here you go:
  11. Whoa... Si's point is not that everyone has to have perfect spelling and grammar. He has nothing against non native people. He is saying (as i interpret it) that 'there's no excuse' for laziness; i.e. people consciously writing like dis cuz u cba to writ properly. Don't take this personally, Si has every right to want people to write properly.
  12. Welcome taz As said, OEM wheels are 16", and the uk spec have wider rears. I'm sure there are people other than Richie k on here with an OEM exhaust. You could put a post up in the parts section for 'wanted' exhaust. Your not too far from me, look forward to updates.
  13. Even on here I've seen people with atrocious grammar, not using a single punctuation the whole 4 line paragraph which makes it partially illegible, but it really isn't worth the effort opening that can of worms. Just ignore it.
  14. You haven't given up correcting people's spelling on the internet yet? I'm impressed. Are we guys seriously comparing an na 220hp 2l 4banger to a 280hp 3l v6 TT supercar? Compare it to the new miata.
  15. Yes
  16. You copied the link at the top of the page, instead of the one that embeds it. When you do this: You do not have to put it in the image dialogue box, just click paste
  17. Close but no cigar. There were a few other Zs at Japfest rock, nice photo :)
  18. Thoughts? Out of the big mouthed front bumpers I don't think this looks too bad. Couldnt stand the wheels though
  19. Cool, you click new thread and on the drop down select Wanted, and just type passenger door mirror. Fairly Self explanatory. I made this FAQ for images as when you are not subscribed, you need an external image hosting website. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?183453-Upload-images-for-Non-Subscribed-members
  20. Hi Dave, welcome to the club. I'm sure someone can help you out. You can put a post up here or i'm sure someone on here will see this and have one. Pics of the car?
  21. Nice idea Si, thoughtful of you I suppose to give back to the club. I can't see the depth of my pockets into 2017 so i'll wait this one out, but good luck to everybody else ;)
  22. Interesting, I did know that all TTs in America were swb, but I didn't know all TTs in uk were lwb. I guess when it wasn't a 'classic sports car' people didn't care about having the less common model and went for the most practical car. Obviously the 100 statement was a complete shot in the dark not knowing how many zs were even in the club. Going to Coventry made me see that they aren't as common as I thought before, makes me think twice about swapping my drive train into my swb.
  23. There is a hole in the undertray by the drain plug (bottom right corner of rad), but as you say, difficult to access the rest of the hoses if you have a fan shroud.
