Yeah so you get the picture, cellulose and aerosol are honestly going to give you more pain than its worth to get it all one colour. In my mind you have two options. 1. Save up some cash over the year and take it to a proper bodyshop to get it resprayed, and do the prep work yourself etc. 2. Have a go if you want with 2k in a garage, don't expect it to be perfect but you are only spending money for the raw pain materials. Others may disagree but that's what I put it down to.

No not really. It will look like junk and you will have to spend ages sanding it down again so you can respray it properly.

The brass ring if for the horn, and those holes I think should have pins in for the indicator deactivation. Which bit of it doesn't fit? Can the whole thing simply not go far down enough to seat on the splines?

Hi mate, there are kits to lock out the Hicas (rear steer) or you can swap the na subframe which has a faster acceleration (higher gear ratio). Not too hard. Some engine bay stuff is cramped but it's not unworkable. Just a pain (though i have no reference to other cars) If you're a mechanic i think you'll be fine.

You are retrimming the Vert door cards? That's a shame they are rather rare and unique.

There is a buzzer if you left the lights on and open the door when the car is off (at least mine does)
