  1. It's that easy as long as they are both lwb/swb
  2. Haha this will be entertaining. Ask Ash, he had one on his na. Do you not have instructions of which wires to splice?

I have one more interested. If we can get timings confirmed that would be good :)
  4. Current plan is to meet on the M25 and drive down to the coast
  5. Ah yes the man with the red zed. Welcome onto here
  6. How hard is very hard to turn? Did you torque down the main bearings and rods without a torque wrench???
  7. No mate haven't got time for that. Got enough fairlady's in my life atm
  8. My posts per day are on the down now -_- I've started to get a life I think [emoji38]

I'm up for it if I can get there.
  10. As with everything, you get what you pay for. This is a bit better than stock good for around 400hp http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/XTD-STAGE-2-CLUTCH-PRO-LITE-FLYWHEEL-KIT-300ZX-TWIN-TURBO-/202011318453 The more expensive clutch will hold higher power and feel nicer, but budget can get the job done.
  11. It's a fairly arduous task to replace the clutch. Why not save up and for a brand new unit that you can be happy won't need to be replaced. A clutch and flywheel kit can be had for little over £200
  12. Gary's posts per day is disgustingly high :tt2:
  13. They are spring loaded via the valves, so quite stiff at tdc and then I found they sprung about 90 degrees if you weren't careful. They should be able to be spun by hand however
  14. Is Dave still Z'ing these days? His car was up for sale a while ago
  15. Do you need Dolmio bolognese sauce with that spaghetti?
  16. Thanks Pete. 7/16 x 20 is the correct tap. if you measure the bolt you can see its about 11.1mm. that tap worked great so I can fix all my cars now :D
  17. Just the one FairladyZ. Oh you mean the other wife...
  18. I'm going to use epilepsy as my excuse of not doing it then
  19. Lee Dent @L A autos is half the distance I would go there instead. (Shrewsbury)
  20. You can do it yourself its not too much of a problem. You just have to get the tensioner right and line everything up correctly. Lee/Jimmer will correct the timing afterwards though which I don't think you would be able to.
  21. VG30 in a 300zx is cramped. Putting it in a smaller car would give me nightmares :scared: Welcome mate
  22. About what mate? Line is busy
  23. The meet is on the 9th Nadeem
