I agree, well worth taking an 1hr30min drive down to Jimmer or someone well reliable to get the car fixed up for good. A local welder wouldn't know about the targa drains etc so may cock it up

Stock is .044", but if you have upped boost you might have a different heat range, with a smaller gap.

If you don't mean the del sol ones (which I hate), you cannot get them cheaply anymore. The cheapest one (after a quick google) is £2500, and to think i bought my Z with twin turbos for less than that, and drove it home... If you are comparing Mint spec ones that might differ, idk, but for my price range I simply couldn't find one for the price I could find Zs for.

Modified yes, needs a tune, but it has supporting mods for around 400. Did they ask for the HP rating? For me they just asked for mods, so; induction, exhaust, boost controller, coilovers, uprated smic, ecu, blah blah.

Both Gary and I had that problem with their online quote thing, but they can sort it over the phone.
