Coolant hose prob
As Jeff liked it, I'm sure it will do the job. I bought it from autosiliconehoses (they have an amazon store). I bought a length of 250mm so that i had enough pipe for 3 sections and then some in case i messed it up. it was about £5 I haven't tested yet but i hope that the clamps on them will put enough force for a seal with the silicone (link for black hose: ) https://www.amazon.co.uk/Black-Length-Straight-Silicone-Coupling/dp/B00UI59WMY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1461528060&sr=8-1&keywords=30mm+ID+Black+250mm

What did you do to your zed today?
Why did he have to ruin that S14

Z Colour change
Its a purple green pearlescent paint. It can stand out, but some combos can make bad colour clashes IMO. I don't know how it would look on a Z but this custom metallic grey might look really different, as I havent seen many grey Zs

Z Colour change
I know, that's why I made that picture like that. I'm not a fan of plain white, because it just looks flat, but black parts can really make it stand out. (P.S if you want me to mess around with colour schemes I can whip up some Photoshops)

Keith is north Shrewsberry so not too far from you also. If he can't get the engine out by himself, he's not too far from Lee Dent. Though he did tell me he was booked up for quite a while :whistling:

Veilside's work in progress
Is media blasting effective to get rid of rust? I have some rust through bubbled paint on my tailgate and was wondering mediablasting vs cutting and welding.

new utube review vid of a 300zx tt nice car
90s one of the best car eras IMO
-
So why a Zed, people?
Very slick shape, wealth of technology 'before' it's time; and as Keith told me, there is hardly other car that can go 160+mph, 0-60 5.5 and 280hp that you can buy for under £2000. Oh and the rareity also attracted me. I never ever see them. The first time I saw a Z in the flesh was the first car I bought no less. And before I was looking, I had never heard of them. If it isn't a supercar of the 90's... I have no idea what is.

What did you do to your zed today?
I believe it's when you have the spoiler lip, you can get a vinyl black strip ontop like

Thanks 300zx.co.uk

Super HICAS
The NA is a car I'm pretty sure I'll never drive, once it's fixed up I really won't have a need for it. The plan was to switch bits and bobs that were broken, fix it up and sell it on. Also It won't be parked if you've seen the Coventry list (+more), that'll be the first time this year it will stretch its legs tbh.

Super HICAS
Implying I can't have a discussion about whether electric or hydraulic HICAS is better? As I've said before, for my the enjoyment of owning my car comes from the modifying of the car, and the community (and meets and whatsuch). Whether I get a driving licence in a couple weeks or a couple months won't change anything.

Super HICAS
Probably best to get back on topic lol. So can we say that there is a noticeable difference between electronic and hydraulic SUPER HICAS?
