  1. That does sound sweet, as FunkySi said LakeZ sounded good but didn't someone pass and it stopped getting organised???? I would propose the idea of three official meets every year, a late spring one, a summer (AGM) and an autumn one since most people will not have cars on the road in winter. If i'm being honest, not all of them need a big venue like Coventry (though it would be nice it have it every year), but maybe just a car park or a field in a nice setting, with some toilets/bar not too far. It is clear we need a NEO to make events more complete, and you undoubtedly have the enthusiasm to make a change. You get my vote Paul! Location if obviously difficult to get turnout, but Midlands i would guess is the best bet. I completely agree, without exposure in the future no one will know these cars exist anymore. I sure didn't until I was looking for a car, and had never seen one before (though probably because I never grew up in the era they were a big thing. LMAO, I think its very important for everyone not to have stock boxes as then we will have nothing to talk about with our cars. Everyone has their own vision and style, whether people like it or not.
  2. Tut tut tut, though Yowser doesn't have an engine at the moment lol
  3. (all the pictures and links don't work btw) From seeing what others have done, I would think you can handle more than 450 if you please
  4. I'm loathing those nsx door cards, though overall the z32 interior is better IMO. The centre console is more curved and 'swoopy', and I think the nsx seats are a bit disappointing and not very impressive. Love the trimming you did to it sudesh!
  5. You shouldn't have done that... just because you are mad you have spoiled a hugely anticipated and secretive project for the sake of nothing... My advice, whether you take it or not would be to create a new thread, encouraging people to suggest meets they've heard about to impose club presence. We need solutions, not complaints. Also remove that post and don't spoil it for everyone....
  6. ~5 years ago people at school use to omg it's Ali c as it had a good ring to it. I just haven't been bothered to make a new identity, though I realise it does sound a bit cringe now
  7. In my opinion regarding local meets this is where you have a prime opportunity to step in. The SE had nothing on until when I joined collectively got everyone's act together to join in, if I bump the thread and sorted everything out, nothing would have come of it. That's my opinion anyway. Also as far as I'm aware anyone can make an application for the NEO role, if you think you have the time and organisation to fill in such, you could make a difference. I'm not having a dig at you, just to make you realise the potential of meets doesn't happen on its own.
  8. You're a bit too far for out Bluewater meets, but why don't you (collectively) arrange meets for Zs in your area, monthly/every two to catch up on what you've done and enjoy a chat :) I am going to as many as I can justify this year to get to know everyone and have a good time (Coventry, Simply Jap, Osty's one, maybe JAE who knows) but I couldn't attend Japfest as the of exams and car not ready. Don't give up hope yet, i'm sure we'd appreciate any suggestions of any meets coming up from anyone and everyone.
  9. That's a fair point, no rust thankfully. I have no idea about 80% of the mileage as its been in Japan, but since import MOTs say it's done around 7k in 10 years, and Martin saying it was left in a shed for 8. Not saying it hasn't, but giving context.
  10. Paint is the one thing needing attention (not related to mileage), but the seats were quite good condition for cloth (though I switched them out for OEM leather seats). So pretty much the stuff that deteriorates with age (paint, plastic) are on the way out, mechanically its good, which is why I bought it :)
  11. 5k seems a reasonable amount as it gives you the freedom to drive it when you feel like, whereas I was thinking about 1k, where you would be limited to shows and the odd cruise.
  12. Simply out of curiosity, what are people's Zed's mileage at and how much do they do every year? Mine is 46k miles, which compared to daily drivers is quite low for its age. The use of these cars is obviously very different, generally being a weekend car etc, or just locked away in a garage.
  13. I can see your point of view about flat white, which is why I am going to break it up with black bits. Not to everyone's tastes but IMO looks very stylish. Who knows, I may experiment with a black spoiler, but Si will probably shout at me
  14. Correct https://www.beaulieu.co.uk/simply-japanese-2016
  15. Sounds good, I'm going to do an extreme white with no flake and some black highlights. but yours should look great, see you there! I will attempt to paint mine after Simply, but there are no guarantees it will come out any good lol. What about your input bearing?
  16. Exhaust, tint (and wheels). and the paint on the front bumper is faded and chipped. I'm not an expert it was an opinion. It not a perfect car, and i've seem better ones sell for less, but it is good news for prices if it does sell of course What Mondo says ↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓
  17. Being honest I doubt it, the paint isn't mint, and the modifications aren't to everyone's tastes. For a car to sell at that price my consensus would have to be good condition 100 %, or a high quality show car.

The arch looks very nice, not too much to make it look out of place, but a widearch stance.
  19. Pfft 3 weeks off[emoji14]If you need a hand send me a message.
  20. Im afraid tapatalk can't post sale threads. Have to do it on a browser. (also in settings you can remove that sent from....)
  21. Sad but happy at the same time, hope you get the perfect one next time. (also you can put up a sale thread on here)
  22. Lol crap, didn't realise, i just clicked his profile and saw it said East Anglia. Essex you'll probably want SE http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?88-London-amp-The-South-East :blushing:
