I'll see tonight if I can't fix it, I got an exam tomorrow and 3 next week, but after that I have a while until everything else so I will have more time to work on it.

I've had the air leak ever since I had the car, hence I was thinking it didn't boost as the guage always sticks to positive pressure, but haven't looked into it much. I did make sure the plugs were on properly but the surround for it was cracked slightly so there is a possibility there could be a problem with them, but I thought if the ptu and cas had a dodgy connection it wouldn't start. I'll have a nose around later and see how the connections are, then see for any other possibilities.

If you looks at the video in my build thread (if you click my started threads) The engine is far from smooth, Stephen said it was probably missing a cylinder, I don't know/hope it doesn't have anything to do with one bank of the timing belt or something as that is what I have changed. I will try and isolate which cylinder it is, and see if I can clean the connections and check/replace the spark plugs. If I can't fix it I'll probably call for some other suggestions

I'll fix that when I get home tonight It would be nice, I could probably get down there for a meal one evening etc. Got a misfire now O.O, hopefully an easy fix

Yep, when i went to buy one was the first time i saw one in the flesh  and never heard of it before then. Everyone I've met are really nice guys anyhow. The next one scheduled is Sunday 26th June, but if you want to make an offer to do another one at another time, though I won't be able to attend before then as exams :(
  10. Because they don't want the responsibility of it breaking  Needless to say I was pissed Have a go i guess, they are about half the price of anyone else!

Cheers, they are all estimates because when someone put 'east sussex' it doesnt really help me :)

  15. Hey Matt, care to put a suggestion in the south east/Kent thread, we would be very interested :)
  16. Oh and get good ventilation, a guy in the year above me practically passed out from the fumes lol
  17. These San Diego people are confusing me
  18. Oh, I thought they routed through to the compressor at the front, anyway, I did bend them in the end:
  19. Thanks for that, I'll have a look, i have an impul bumper so I don't know if there will be any differences or if i will have to cut the bumper :scared:
  20. Cheers, that's what I've done. I also removed the support bracket to the front so it can sit a little further forward.
  21. Struggling to fit this intercooler, is there a way to fit it without removing the AC pipes as they are in the way
  22. Cheers, If i were you doing the fan shroud, i would suggest grinding down all the vertical plastic bits to leave a smooth surface like (I think it was) Dan did, but then again you painted it already so just trial and error i guess.
  23. Damn winter again already... I'm no expert, but it doesn't look disastrous, nothing looks structurally compromised and I would like to think that a shop could straighten the metal.
  24. I understand that, but if you want just a few pieces dipped, and want to try a variety of designs, a minimum of 5m² would be less than ideal tbh.
