Hi chaps, Someone on reddit was asking about the Z as a possibility for his new car. Is there anyone in the Leicestershire area that could offer to come check out their Z and give some some advice. His budget is under 3k and looking at the market at the moment (wow), there are no good condition TTs for that price. He preferably wants an na for insurance and also it would be more reliable for a daily driver. If he's getting an na I suggested to get a manual to make it more fun, but if it's his dd then it might make sense to get an auto? But his choice. There really isn't much choice at the moment and I can only see 2 good condition for sale under £3k. The condition of the car looks nice, can't see anything wrong with the appearance, but it needs a good clean and that glass motor will need fixing. You said about carbon skinning parts, I suggested rather than skinning them with carbon, it would be easier to get normal parts, and put a carbon dip on it so they look like carbon. But fair enough if you want the real deal, it's all compromise of cost.

Yeah, he just said It would save him the bother if you think you could get them elsewhere. I think skinning would be better to use with hydro dipping as it would be cheaper if it's just the looks people care about

I would like to think that non turbo downpipes would not fit tts because the pipes come from the turbos not the manifold. But I could be wrong.
