Interesting headlight setup.
Looks very aggressive. Any pictures of the beam/light pattern?

Hello to all from AkiraZX
Beautiful Z akirazx. A fine example of a well done Z. Do you have details of the engine build and other performance mods? Also any pictures of the interior? Rob

Richie's "Blue Thunder" Build Thread!!
Go black on the subframe and silver for the diff. Red for the subframe will be overkill. Make sure you sand blast it real good to get rid of the rust before painting. Also, if you can, powdercoat it instead of painting it, it will hold up much better than paint.

Z32s at auction
Wow!!!...two slicktops in one week  I am so mad at the laws here that do not allow to import anything unless it is 25 years or older :cursing:

New guy from Anguilla
Welcome aboard Ian do you have additional pics of the interior? What kind of seats are those? Beautiful Z BTW.

Interesting headlight setup.
Bugatti Chiron wanna be:laugh: Saw it a while back, IIRC the owner retrofitted the LED headlights from the New Acura MDX onto the Z headlights.

would these fit a Zed?
Now that's more like it. That is a good looking wheel. Very similar to the LMGT4's

Bose center speaker used with aftermarket radio?
If you chose the correct harness adapter you will not need to worry about this as the harness will power all channels directly from the aftermarket radio. Usually most people do not worry about it as the different/improvement is sound is negligible and it was only available for early z32's UK guys, yep, the US Z32 came with a center channel bose speaker (optional) that is located right below the factory radio. Personally I prefer to have the space to store stuff as the Z32 already has limited storage for phones, mp3 players, GPS, radars, etc.

That is a nice wheel you were looking at on that ebay post. If I am not mistaken those are replicas of the OZ Futuras, a beautiful wheel indeed. As far as what offset will work on the Z, you need to be looking at either +35 all around or a combo of +35 or +27 for the front and +40 to +44 on the rear. Another factor that plays a role in choosing the right offset is wheel design. My current setup is 18x8 +37 front and 18x10 +44 on the rear. I have another set that is 18x9.5 +37 front and 18x10.5 +44 on the rear. I have yet to mount tyres on this last set but I have test fitted and have no issues on the rear. I have to use a 10mm spacer in the front to clear my BBK (the spacer is already being used on my current set)

AB-FLUG Power superior Sound clip
Thanks Richie. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

AB-FLUG Power superior Sound clip
Thanks Eggs. Sadly the microphone does not do the exhaust justice, it sounds even better in person. I will keep an eye out for one.:chinese:

AB-FLUG Power superior Sound clip
Finally the weather clear up and got a chance to film a quick sound clip of the new (to me) exhaust. Hope you all like it.

370z Nismo
Currently, yes, I am running at 23PSi. The run against the 370 took place before switching over to 740cc injectors and increasing the boost. Back then the only mods I had done were single cone intake with velocity stack and 2.5" DP and 2.5" exhaust, both cars,370 and mine are manual too.

370z Nismo
Hit the nail right on the head. Over rated is the right word. The guys seem to be forgetting that the Z32, stock made 289 lb/tq and the 370 made 266lb/tq. HP figures are important too, but more important than HP is torque.

Z32s at auction
Fair enough, would you be able to snap a few shots of it? :innocent:
-
370z Nismo
True, but if you keep in mind that we are talking about a 20 year difference, that's is a pretty great result for our beloved Z32.

370z Nismo
Stock block, stock turbos, stock intercoolers, stock piping, Nistune, 740cc injectors, selin dual intake, 2.5" DP, TP, and 2.5" exhaust.

370z Nismo
Not in my recent experience. I have done quite a few pulls against the regular 370 and two 370 Nismo's and at the end it was half a car difference against the regular 370 every time and a bit less against the Nismo. Specs on the regular 370's Full Exhaust, CAI, ECU chipped, Hiflow cats, aftermarket exhaust manifolds, M370 intake plenum. Specs on the Nismo 370 Full Exhaust, CAI and Hi flow cats

Rough idle
One of your injectors is out. Check to determine which by unplugging the coil packs, one at a time with the engine running, until you notice a drop on the RPM's
-
370z Nismo
Not if it is on a straight line or 1/4 mile, the Z32 walks on the 370, even the Nismo. There are a few around my area and I also test drove one, yes the handling is much more precise and tight than the Z32, and with reason due to the fact that they are 20+ years apart.

PSA AB-FLug Power Superior for sale (not mine)
- Bose speakers
One of two things can be happening here. 1. Whomever installed the radio did not make the the appropriate connections and there is a loose ground for that speaker, causing it to buzz or make the weird noise. 2. Whoever installed the radio did not bypass the factory amp and it has now failed causing to make the strange noise on that speaker only. I would check the wiring first and then jump to the speaker. - Bose speakers
