  1. hahaha....tell you what I will put you first in line if I ever decide to switch back to a Veilside Evo. Rob
  2. :happybday: Have a great one:thumbup:
  3. RPS is good. My recommendation will be Southbend it will not affect clutch pedal feel (will feel just like the OEM) and will provide a much better performance. Joe at Zspeed can help you with a recommendation based on the modifications you have. http://zspeedperformance.com/90-96-300zx-Twin-Turbo-Clutch-Kits-Flywheels_c197.htm If you are looking for a more aggressive clutch the Specialty Z 5 puck will fit the bill. Rob
  4. Rich, I have a video of exhaust at idle and revving. Not sure if I posted it here. Link below Rob
  5. hahahaha....they are coming Rich, I am just waiting for the voting to open for the calendar pics on tt.net so I can post them. I still have the Blitz, not getting rid of them, just like your Veilsides, they are too rare to come by....May I interest you in a trade? :innocent: I have a video of a fly by that was recorded at Nismo Fiesta this year, it's only 30 seconds long though. I will upload it when I get home today. Rob
  6. Jeff, thanks a lot for the comment. Really appreciate all critiques and suggestions, it helps me improve on the filming. This was all improvised, I am currently making arrangements to make another video that will capture more of the Z in different scenes and the different mods it has and also of a much higher quality. Rob Rob
  7. That is the Escort front bumper, it has a built in diffuser that blends into the lip.
  8. Hello everyone, it has been a while since new pictures of the Z were posted, and in a recent photo shoot I was able record a few clips of the Z and put them together to make a quick video. Hope you all like it. P.S Rich I know I still owe you the pics, but I figured this will make up for them :sweatdrop: Rob
  9. Good stuff Rich....I'm telling you man, just send me the Veilside's and call it a day. Them wheels are deterring you from your goal  lol Rob
  10. I had aftermarket HID's until recently. The kit I bought was from ebay and was on the Z for 6 years. It was the Sportiva Midas 55w 4300k kit http://www.ebay.com/itm/HID-Digital-Slim-55W-Midas-Bi-Xenon-Single-Beam-Or-Hi-Lo-Conversion-Kit-W-Relay-/311427833727?&_trksid=p2056016.m2516.l5255 Had no problems at all and was a very white. Do not, use HID's on your fog lights. They are too bright for the small housing, very high amounts of heat and you will have to cut the back of the fog light in order to run the wire for the bulb. You will be better off upgrading the bulb to a 55w (factory is 35w) using the Z1 adaptor https://www.z1motorsports.com/z1-products/z1-motorsports/z1-fog-light-conversion-plug-35-watt-55-wattpair-p-4550.html Hope this helps. Rob
  11. Excellent work. Great choice on the color, Z looks great.
  12. And this, gentlemen, is proof that the "while I am at it" syndrome is extremely contagious. haha...good stuff Rich, I know it's going to hard, but don't let the "while I am at it" syndrome take over, other wise it will never be done. Believe me I know :innocent:
  13. Yes!!....Lots, I was able to get everything done and then some. Pictures were taken last weekend and are being edited as we speak. I received a few already, but can't post yet. I will be submitting them for the tt.net calendar. Hopefully I will make it again this year  Rob
  14. Hey Rich, good progress so far. For some reason I stopped getting updates from this thread and I have not been following. I am all caught up now. You know, those Veilsides don't good at all, they poke out too much, just send them to me, I'll take good care of them  Rob
  15. A dream drive of mine. Sadly I am in the wrong side of the pond. Can't wait to see the pictures Have fun! Rob
  16. Got it, at this point that is your best option. Changing the barrels will also allow you to change the offset, therefore eliminating the need of spacers. Sadly no, work has been kicking my butt lately and I have not gotten a chance to mount the tires on the wheels  Rob
  17. If the Volks do in fact have a +1 and -1 offset, the is no way they will fit without changing the barrel. Yes, you are correct, by fitting the 20mm spacers you will bring down the offset to +16mm on the Veilsides; however, this will also make the wheel stick out way past the fender line thus requiring a lot of stretch on the tire. Are you referencing the Veilsides or the Volks here. Rob
  18. If I were in your position I would try to find a barrel for the Veilsides without the step lip inside. I do not know how difficult that will be as that could also mean changing the offset on the Veilsides. It is all going to depend on what options are available for the Veilside centers. A good start for that research will be by counting the number of bolts on the center of the wheel and running a search online to see what options there are. Rob P.S. For everyone else looking to do a BBK upgrade on your Z please keep in mind your wheel setup, as some have an inside step lip and some do not. This inside step lip would mean that you can only fit up to a 13.5" size disk, where as a wheel without it would be able to fit up to a 14.25" disk.
  19. Rich, Brakes look very nice. Question, are those 14" disks? If yes, that was the same issue I had when I tried to fit the 14" AP racing BBK on my Z. The Veilside wheels were made by SSR and they tend to use a step barrel on the inside of their wheels, even today; however, Volk/Rays Engineering uses a barrel without an inside step and those fitted the 14" BBK on a 18" wheel. I had to settle for a 13.5" disk so that my Blitz (which wer also made by SSR back then) fitted the AP racing BBK. Hope this helps. Rob
  20. Rich, This is amazing information. Definitely something I will be referring back to when I get ready to get my rear bbk set. My brake bias is certainly out of wack right now. We should make it a sticky. Rob
  21. Looking good there Rich. Keep the pics coming. Rob
  22. It is a long stretch but I can see the argument
  23. Oh snap!...really?.....well, to the surprise of many, I am one of the few that does not have a FB account or any social media account for that matter.
