nope- just allows you to burn more fuel, fuel is injected at the same time as the nitrous goes in, usually with nozzles next to the gas nozzles, or ,as with the jwt ecu, through the standard injectors. its the fuel that burns, the nitrous just allows more fuel to burn

warren - nitrous is not explosive mate (at least i hope not - its the same stuff they force down your neck in the dentists to put you out!!!) its oxygen rich, which in turn allows you to burn more fuel, which is also injected with the nitrous. this is what gives you the power boost

yeah, and it will melt your paintwork off the body, cut through your brake lines, put your suspension geometry out & if it ever leaks out of the bottle, it will come into your house & steal your children!! :rolleyes: it just needs to be setup correctly ffs!

john-boy, was yours the one in autotrader for ages?? i was thinking of getting that one but when I got mine he had it up for £9k :eek: watched it slowly drop over the next few months!!

2+2's were all that were available in the UK, all TT's & all (i believe) with t tops, other configurations ,swb, na's, convertables etc were import only. so on an import, you could have a na if you wish. rear seats ok for small kids, my 13 yr old is a little squished in the back, but not too bad :cool:

start by cleaning the throttle bodies & idle valve with carb cleaner, also check & clean the connectors on your PTU, throttle pot sensor, temp sensor etc with electrical cleaner

mine pretty well fitted your description then: UK manual in VGC, 80k with FSH (oil change every 3k), no mods apart from a nice set of 17" rims (you forgot that on your list!!), leather & suede interior (in VGC), 93 L model. had a standard radio/cd when i bought it, but you cant have everything i suppose! :rolleyes: paid £7k ps, no, im not selling!!!! :p keep looking, it did take me a while to get mine.

at the mo, a third of all who voted are still completly stock, that surprised me a bit actually.

so i just disconnected it & used the aerial in the rear screen. i think they look crap with the aerial up, reception is still fine without it anyway.
