  6. deffo get the pipes. I got mine from Courtesy without the pipes, went to fit them & found the pipes were rock hard!! need to get the pipes now. they look very awkward to get too, I was thinking of removing the upper plenum to do them & replace all seals & gaskets at the same time.

    dont know for definate, looking at the manual there is a temp sensor at the front of the engine that switches the fan. best way of finding out is to short the connector to ground with the ignition on & off to see when the fan cuts in.

    yup, theres also an electric fan for the a/c in front of the condensor.

  10. it was win 95a that didnt support usb fwiw. you could also try swapping it to another slot.

  12. hi john, just got back from a few days away. damn bud, gutted for you :( hope you get it sorted one way or the other. if its uneconomical to repair & you get a payout & can get the car back, let me know as I have a few contacts in the bodyshop that may be able to repair it cheap for you. just let me know if you want to go down this route.
  13. performance is a nice improvement over stock - main increase from boost increase. prob not stu - will be too busy till the new year, maybe a meet after then?? (lakeside was on the cards a while back wasnt it?) cheerz macca, got a while till I reach your greatness!!:cool: (well your cars anyway!! :D )
  14. had my JWT filter & mongoose exhaust on for a while now, RPS clutch & fidanza flywheel went on a few weeks back, boost gauge in cybercraft a pillar fitted last week, JWT chip went in last week also, put boost jets in yesterday - just need to go down a size on these as its only (!) 12 psi with 1.2mm jets at the mo.
  15. infact make sure the antifreeze content is correct all year round as its also a rust inhibitor. :cool:

  17. use a touch up stick, build it up & cut it back with some cutting compound. or find a decent chips repairer. if the arms are *really* stubbon, in the past i have screwed the nut on a little & got some grips under the arm & on the nut. not tried it on a zed so I dont know how much room there is to get grips underneath

  19. performance air filter & exhaust are the first mods, induction kits are around £100+, cat back SS exhaust from about £450+. next is a remapped chip & boost upgrade - tho your also gonna need an uprated clutch at this point. like jeff says tho, make sure all the essential bits are done before you start buying toys!! also 99 spoilers, look here.
