  12. well i got a JWT from courtesy, $120 (but got mine for $100 on special offer :) ) nice quality & performance wise theres prob not much between all of the decent makes.
  13. oh yea, all the rebuilding is done by us. just when you said you wanted a co. to do ALL work in house, i thought id let you know it doesnt happen that way. but any competent garage should be able to remove, strip & rebuild. just not many will have the machining tools to do everything. like you say tho. the biggest problem is actually finding a competent one!
  14. well, i'd do mine myself! ;) (tho thats not much use to you!) just 1 point: we do all the mecanical work ourselves (obviously, being a garage!) but sub out all the engineering work, ie cyl reboring, head resurfacing etc. which is the norm in the motor trade.
  15. stu - 10/40 refers to the viscosity of the oil (how it flows under certain temps) NOT the quality! we use Mobil Super S at work, a 10W40 oil, very good quality. you could go down your local highstreet "autoparts" where they sell 10w40 oil for about 50p for 5l. NOT the same quality, but the same rated viscosity. hth
  16. zeds arnt in the mot cat database anyway & arnt subject to a cat test ;) (unless your a flash git with a 95 -> which would be subject to a default cat test)
  17. yup, agree - prevention is better than cure! :p (and usually a whole lot cheaper to boot!!!)
  18. yup, wot clarkey said. try it, it works fine for me (tho i dont listen to the radio a great deal) you dont actually have to disconnect the aerial connection, i just disconnected the electrical connector from the motor to stop the mast from going up.
  19. sorted it now!! when i saved it in publisher it creates a new folder called "publish" with all the relevent files in, hadnt seen this  ta anyway :)
  20. thanks stu, my main concern is with the file type, its saved as a .pub file not .htm and i cant seem to be able to save as one, or am i missing something obvious?
