  1. Smiffy's right! its not a very hard job to do. done mine in about 4 hrs (on a ramp ;) ) including changing the flywheel (lightweight jobbie - from Smiffy) rear main seal & gearbox seal. would have been quicker but to avoid snapping the studs I spent a bit of time warming them up to undo them. came out easy then ;)
  2. drive whatever the hell you want!!! :D just show him the picture of the guy in the states with his 3 cars on the drive - a Lambo, a Ferrari & a ZED!! :D I work for Mercedes & everyone always asks why I dont run a Merc!! nuff said! ;)

LOL!!! reminds me of what happened a few years back - Skoda pulls up outside our workshop & the driver jumps out & starts running around like a headless chicken shouting "Help, Help!" we realise that flames are coming out of his engine bay!! so i grab a fire extinguisher & go over to the car, as i get there the bloke goes to open the bonnet (boot?!)!! we all shout "NOOOOOOOOO!" to late!! aaaaaaaaaaaargh!! smell of burning flesh!! :D :D now i dont believe you wanted to do that! we put the fire out by blasting through the grille with the extinguisher. another skip off the roads :D

im sure you'll get 101 different answers to this one  but id recommend any decent 10W40 semi synthetic oil & change it every 3000 miles. I use Mobil Super S use fully synthetic if your feeling flush & fancy spending more money than required!! :D
