  3. UK manuals are probably the rarest of all. all uk's are targa top, twin turbo 2+2 they are easy to mod to a degree, intake, zorst, boost upgrade, chip etc but then can get v expensive! still easy, but expensive ;) :D
  4. yeah, stuff the slough lot!! - last time we met there only about 6 turned up :p (nice sunday roast tho- once we drove round & around for 1/2 hr!!)
  5. does the pope shit in the woods??? :D
  6. our cars are not in the ............blah blah blah.......................how many times have i posted this................blah blah blah.....................do a search FFS...................blah blah blah.....................so because of that you dont need Cats on your car to pass an MOT. HTH ;) :D
  7. they should be either 360 deg thrust OR roller bearing if there hybrids. if neither then avoid them imo

  11. have a read of our own guide also buyers guide
  12. im telling Cerina :D :slap:
  13. can you not get the sender seperatly tho?? the merc all in one units we use can be purchased as a seperate item. its probable the contacts on the variable resistor either poor contact or the windings broken. may be worth a clean - the laquor in the petrol can coat the surfaces & give inacurrate/no readings

    no :p
  15. Passed my MOT yesterday with flying colours The tester said it was the nicest Zed he's ever seen (& hes seen loads) & thought blue is the nicest colour on a zed :D what a nice chappie he was ;)
  16. we've just got a SL600 V12 twin turbo in just baggsied the first road test :D :D :D
  17. bigger intercoolers will have more lag as there is more air in the intake system to compress, so you need an intercooler(s) which is big enough to lower the charge temp, but not too big to cause massive lag

  22. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! never watch a film like that at home!! ruins it imo. even with a massive telly & surround sound it comes nowhere near to watching it in a cinema im going at the weekend :)
  23. pah!! kids stuff :p now THIS is the quickest estate car in the world! With the EV12 6.3 litre V12 Bi-Turbo engine the EV12 Estate becomes the fastest estate car in the world! Developing 640bhp and 1029Nm (762lb.ft) this car accelerates from 0-60mph in 4.0 seconds, to 125mph in 12.9 seconds and to a maximum of 212mph!
  24. C240 is prob a good one to look out for then, 2.4 V6, which is a nice engine in these cars, you could also get a 4 cyl one in 1.8, 2.0, 2.3 & 2.3kompressor (supercharged) 1.8 is very underpowered, C200 is bareable! oil leaks can be a problem on 4 cyl engines from the headgaskets, if its only from the front of the head then they can sometimes just be tightened down. V6 engines dont suffer from this. they eat brake pads & disks steering dampers leak as do rear diff seals air mass sensors are a little problematic brake light swiches can put the ESP light on keys can go down, as can the EIS (ign switch) make sure its got FSH & all the additional items have been done at the correct times a B service with all the additional items can be costly, esp with the V6 - 12 plugs at £6.32 ea + 2 hrs labour to do!! let me know if you want any more info :)
