ok, go into user control panel & in your sig where you wrote red uk tt Drive it like you stole it! add a line like i showed you above which is a link to your piccie in your rides section (or anywhere else on the web). so on my example, i uploaded a piccie called "PaulCSig.gif" into my rides & used that. ok? :)
  2. nope, im still sat on my arse doing bugger all!! ;)

    like this: {img}http://rides.300zx.co.uk/rides/644/PaulCSig.gif{/img} but use [ ] instead os { } :D
  4. nice one, well done & boo to you too!! :D
  5. just wrote this: Boost Jet FAQ so no more questions on boost jets until youve read it!! :D
  6. i had a car written off once, it was an Audi 80 sport which was immaculate, i phoned them up & haggled which got me an extra few hundred quid. many insurance companies now dont allow you to buy the cars back, once the ins co have paid you its their car, they often have deals with auction/scrappies & they go straight to them.
  7. its above 90% duty they are generally considered maxed. i do know that Smithy was running his hybrids on stock injectors for a while & he told me that he had checked on conzult/techtom & they were not maxed out!
  8. import TT's have HICAS too, its just the NA's that dont have it UK TT's are more likely to have leather & heated seats, cheaper & easier to insure. imports are cheaper to buy in the 1st place & are more likely to have a few mods on.
  9. I really cant be arsed to do anything :D
  10. we do?????????????
  11. with all due respect, higher boost & no det, im running 16psi on stock tubs & injectors - pretty much as far as id wanna take stock tubs anyway. less lag & better spoolup?? unless were saying the stock AFM is that restrictive for stock tubs then i cant see it making any difference at all, or at the best a very minimal change. i still say putting the money into savings would have been better, then buy the tubs as well. :)
  12. 300z - long gone!
  13. LOL!! ok, so you've spent the money now on those mods, then youve gotta pull the engine again to install tubs at a later date!?!? erm, why didny you put the money youve spent on 555's & twin intakes into a savings account & buy them with the turbos??? your choice i guess! :)
  14. Tooley - i know many people have helped other members on here a hell of a lot, & your right, you dont have to pay £20 subs to help others. i have helped out quite a few forum members myself! BUT - thats not quite the point is it? the £20 is to go towards the running of this forum. if people dont pay up then there will be no forum for members, currently paid or otherwise, to ask for help!!! BTW i know a few long standing members here are now zedless, & i see no need for any of you to pay! :)
  15. i think it should be activly encouraged for subscribed members to humiliate the tight arses into paying. we should look down at the scrounging scum & treat them as outcasts :D all IMHO ;)
  16. huh?? why are you going for 555's & twin intakes on stock tubs??
  17. the auto doesnt "shift gears" at all really, all gears are engaged but brake bands are applied to hold different parts of the epicyclic gear train (how about that one tech fans ;) ) to get different ratios. on a manual you are physically shifting a mechanical gear hub to engage each gear - far better approach :D
  18. & Marc AKA blackzx/sussex was selling/has sold his car AFAIK the rest should pay up NOW!!
  19. cos hes an auto driver & doesnt know how to change gears  :xxx:
  20. deffo picks up quicker, not by a huuuuuuge amount, but a worthwhile mod non the less. doesnt affect drivability/smoothness at all IMO.
  21. LOL!! you really are missing the point here!

ok, but im not sure what you cant get your head around still!!, youve got code 34 stored in the ecu, this is telling you the car has a faulty det sensor or wiring. the ECU has now way of telling if the car is detting or not so it puts the car into safety boost. there is no "code" for the car detting, the det sensor is there to listen to det & back of the timing and/or boost if it detects it. so were still back to you having a defective det sensor/wiring that needs repairing!

here it is again in case you missed it!! ok, yes - you should fit an after market chip if your running that much boost, BUT - code 34 means the sensor or wiring is faulty. so you will still get code 34 & safety boost with another chip. so all in all, you need to repair the wiring/det sensor AND get a new chip!!
