  1. welcome! :) without wanting too p!ss you off on your 1st post, a UK TT can be cheaper to insure than an NA as its an import!! ;) 18bhp for a filter is for a TT, & is prob a little generous on its own. I would have thought 5-10bhp on a NA for just a filter
  2. yup, deffo HICAS link arms. replace them & 4 wheel alignment
  3. avoid superchips on our cars - not got a good rep on z32's 60bhp increase is from upping the boost, which is the main reason for chipping it
  4. LMAO!! dont usually go down there. id been out on the piss all weekend & took the scenic route home :D
  5. i think i got the closest last year :D (but still didnt get wet ;) )
  6. ooh, lots of different ideas!! ok, firstly: the zed (as all modern cars) does have dual circuit brakes, & it is there as a safety feature. using the handbrake is of course another idea, but not everyone will think of that, & it will almost certainly lock the rear wheels causing skidding & poss loss of control of the car. it IS there if there is a failure in 1 of the lines. BUT it wont stop half way!!! the inside of the master cyl contains 2 pistons in line so that the brake pressure will go to each circuit. under normal oporation, the pressure will compress in both lines. failure of 1 circuit will cause that piston to bottom out before the other starts to move & compress the next circuit. so rather than the pedal moving half way, its more like 90% of the way.
  7. am i on it again this year??
  8. well aaaaaaaaaaaalrighty then. thought you was promoting tree hugging or something for a min ;) :D
  9. it is 70% transmission - I just fekking said that! :slap: like i said - most cars have tints on the side windows already, I spoke to a VOSA rep recently who recommended NO AFTERMARKET TINTS ON THE SIDE WINDOWS!!!! ok??
  10. "Most users ever online was 93, 27th November 2003 at 12:20" can we all arrange to be online at a certain time on a certain day - im getting fed up seeing this everyday!! :D
  11. LMAO!! got to agree with matty - only get multi-spokes. leave the 3 spokes to the Saxo brigade :D
  12. PMSL!! & you drive a zed???? go buy a 2CV & convert it to run on water :slap: :p
  13. VOSA are recommending NO tints on the front side windows apart from factory tints, as Mac has already stated
  14. the law is 70% light transmission. most tints that were considered legal have now been discovered to fail that level of light transmission. add that to the fact that most side windows have some level of factory tinting on already & you have no chance :( we were made to remove film from cars we had on our forecourt a couple of weeks back.
  15. does anyone on here buy anything apart from Optimax anyway??
