  1. easy job to remove - remove the outer bolt on the arm & remove the 4 nuts/bolts securing the bracket to the body - remove the inner bolt with the arm & bracket off. Clean & lubricate the bolts & refit. Or get some adjustable arms LOL
  2. may try to make this if I'm not working that day :)
  3. taking a wild guess I would say at the Grass Hopper Inn :whistling:
  4. Happy Birthday James :thumbup1:
  5. Hi - the problem with modding them this way is when you flash your lights with the headlamps off the HIDs will flash also which is not good. If you do it as these instructions (a little more long winded to do) then when you have your HIDs on then they will stay on when you flash or switch to main beam - but when you flash with the HIDs off the HIDs will stay off: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=117007 much better :)
  6. +1 I have these too, top kit & really well made :thumbup1:
  7. one 1000bhp record breaking zed: http://www.junauto.co.jp/democar/jb-z32/index.html?en
  8. Think of it this way: if you adjust the NSF strut down then more weight will be transferred to this strut & the corner weight will increase for this corner. try this: stand up straight with your feet slightly apart - now bend your left leg to effectively shorten it - more weight is now on your left side than your right. Thats how it works! Corner weighting for dummy's!!:lol:
  9. No - I had it crafted from Mahogony - was thinking about having it varnished instead of painted to show the grain of the wood. Oh, hang on - am sure this is going to provoke some more sock suspension comments LOL!!:lol: do trainer socks mean you have lowered sock suspension?! :clown:
  10. LOL!! I would even know what sock suspenders are, you obviously do!! :tt2: do Tein make a set?? To be honest you have surprised me Jimmer - I would have thought you would have praised a RLTC system. Dont know why as I have never even met you LOL! Still - I like mine, even without this sock suspension techno babble
  11. nah - we drive high powered cars - once tuned they tend to have far quicker reactions than we do LOL! Once in a while when you drive enough it will catch you out! (yup - I know, speaking from experience here! ) Its a great system that inspires confidence & personally I love it  Each to their own however - personally I dont like fibreglass body kits :innocent: :x:
  12. Have you driven a car with Racelogic TC??? Trust me - you can dial in the fun you want while keeping a safety margin - in fact you could probably still lose it when turned right up!! You can configure the cut tables to suit your driving & how fast it cuts in - you can change how much slip you get in a straight line compared to how much you get when cornering. Its the nuts & anyone that says otherwise probably hasnt experienced it! LOL! I prefer having control but still having that safety factor - how much is completely adjustable too!!
  13. I have had RLTC on for years - its the best mod I have ever done!!! its nothing like a factory TC system & sticking it on 15-20% will let the rear and slide out but keep it from wiping out completely when a poor road condition catches you out!! In the wet it makes the car far safer to drive!!
  14. LOL! My girlfriend did say I needed a penis enlarger, so I got one............................... Shes 19 & her names Katie!!!
  15. Some say that he's only 6 inches tall and that he hides in peoples bedrooms looking for Zeds................................... All we know is - he's called the Stig!!
  16. I get a similar deal for Mobil 1 (not the £300 per barrel tho LOL) :innocent:
  17. fekking awesome kit mate - I love the look of this :drool::drool: daaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmnnnn expensive though!! Probably not going to get much change out of £9-10k fitted by the time you get bumpers & other bits & bobs etc
  18. well it says only for vehicles that qualify for a full cat emissions test - which suggests only petrol engines so you should not be able to fail a diesel engined car without a cat! Some testers may try to but reading the testers manual it does state the above!
  19. wont apply to a pre 95 zed as it ony applies to cars that require a full cat emmission test
  20. It will normally tell you in the VSI (vehicle specific information) on the test sheet when you print it out - guessing at the moment but the ABS check has been this way for years now
  21. Ah - but most warning lights need to come on when the ignition is switched on then go out when running! ;)
  22. yea - from what I could gather when I was researching turbos - a genuine T28 is a 5 bolt outlet - 4 bolts versions are basically T28 internals stuffed into a machined T25 housing & are meant to be poo! To be avoided!! T28's are pretty old hat now & there are probably far better solutions to upgrade nowdays
  23. LOL!! How about a twin engine Mercedes A Class (yes - WTF would they do that for?!?!) http://uygarr.blogspot.com/2010/09/mercedess-small-monster-a190-twin-from.html Built for & given to Mika Hakinnen and David Coulthard who were driving for them at the time in F1 Check out the engine in the rear LOL
  24. When they first came out I was working for a VW dealer - the company also owned a Nissan dealer opposite, one day one of the techs brought one in our workshop & I was blown away by it - it was just amazing & I knew I had to have one!! :w00t: As soon as I could afford one I bought the same one I have now - nearly 10 years on & still love driving it!! :thumbup1:
