555's are gonna be maxed out, at 600bhp (if they even reach that). much safer to go for 720's/850's
  3. im sure you would if someone was to ferment it andy!!
  4. welcome Pyro, think iv got some piccies of your car from billing - nice ride mate. JWT now fit their 530 turbos to the 350Z, as pyro says, rated at about 400bhp on stock internals. i agree with JB about not slating the Z33, the only one to slate should be the Z31 IMO!! :D
  5. i heard he sold it to buy a poopra :x:
  6. thought id share as so many people keep moaning about the reliability of our cars. yesterday at work: brand new A class with less than 100 miles on the clock. failed coil pack only running on 2 cyls brand new S class 300 miles, failed power steering. hose blown off loosing all fluid. 1997 C240 V6. front pulley damper broken up, pulley cut through front timing case & sump - £2k worth of repairs needed 2 electronic ignition switch failures imobilising the vehicles as well as the usual servicing & repairs :x:

  8. LOL! lobbed mine away when i fitted my 99 spec to my UK car ;)
  9. Yup :) as eric says, as long as the beam pattern is correct, & its correctly aligned, then there is no reason for rejection
  10. all mercs with xenons are self levelling, however i cant possibly see any reason for rejection on a MOT, neither could i see how it would invalidate insurance as long as they were aligned correctly??
  11. fookin good fun this. 3 hour endurance race, 3 in a team. 70 mph twin engine pro karts  i knew driving the zed would come in handy one day, Paul C's fave overtaking move: sideways round fast corners, done 3-4 karts at a time!! :hyper: we'll have to organise a southern meet there one day
  12. even more reason to hike the boost up even more then :D
  13. http://www.brdevelopments.com/link.html scroll down dont think there that much, scooby boys use them a lot
  14. youd be better off leaving the resistor in & getting a knock link sensor

  18. nothing will prepare you for the amount you spend on fuel!! :D
  19. got a free day out go karting tomorrow @ Buckmore Park, better than being at work & i get paid for being there
  20. Theres only 2, the positive & the negative :D
  21.
  22. ahh, but thats why my RaceLogic TC is so much fun. adjustable, so just set to the desired amount of slip & leave it there ;)
  23. get that chip then :D as james says, the main reason for a chip is to safely increase boost pressure. you will need a decent aftermarket boost gauge, then by using boost jets or an electronic boost controller, raise your boost pressure to the desired level (around 1 bar max on stock tubs/injectors) you should also think about uprated coolers for your auto box if not already fitted
  24. LOL!! iv got 2 F1's waiting to go on too
