  1. ATF is hygroscopic? - dont think so bud. most manufacturers are now "sealed for life". used to be a 36000 mile interval change on mercs, is now no longer a service item due to improved properties of Dexron 3 :)
  2. oooooooooooooooooooooh heaven is a place on earth!! :D
  3. sounds like a lazy O2 sensor IMO
  4. yup, Steve Millen specials
  5. lighten up jeff, its just a bit of tounge in cheek banter. something this forum has been lacking recently IMO. & TBH if the person that posted those pictures didnt want a bit of piss taking then the shouldnt have posted pics like that. all IMO of course ;)
  6. harsh but fair!!!
  7. no way! - i bought mine to drive, not to sit in a garage :nono:
  8. no, detectors were legal because the part of the law they used to prosecute people was being used incorrectly. the law stated it was illegal to recieve & alter radio signals. because the detectors only recieve the signal & do not interfere with it in any way it was not illegal to use them. people had been wrongly charged!! laser jammers do actually disrupt the signal, which is why they are illegal
  9. i have had cracked wheels repaired before, but usually around the rim, not on a spoke. where abouts are you? it will prob work out cheaper to get a 2nd hand wheel TBH
  10. bummer :( hope they dont give you too much greif. may be worth getting some legal advise, i think dangerous driving may be hard to prove TBH.

Have a look here for our buyers guide: http://300zx.co.uk/tech/BuyingZ.htm buy a well maintained one from here is probably the best advise you'll get.
  12. LMAO! maybe its you ;) try taking him out to dinner & buying him choccies :D
  13. it sounds like you really need the TT!! they are still a quick car, but not like the turbo variety. if you want to start modding etc the get a TT to start with - too costly to get any real power from an NA IMO
  14. FFS, what does the kit consist of to be worth £2200??????
  15. £2.5k is taking the piss IMO even at £1k retail for the kit, £1.5k to fit it is bonkers!
  16. could be all sorts! have you done an ECU diagnostic? also check the O2 sensors (diagnostic mode 2) as it could be down to one of those from the symptoms. also check clean air mass & temp sensor & connectors. check plugs for wear/fouling & do a compression test while there out
  17. fingers crossed for ya bud ;)
  18. 12 psi is for girls - you want at least 15 psi!! :D lightweight underdrive pulley is another option.
  19. well legitimatley they shouldnt! on a twin exhaust system they should take readings from BOTH sides, then average them out ;)
  20. LMAO!!: Paul Crew, Your ideal job is a Heavyweight Boxer. c'mon macca - bring it on :D
  21. doesnt make any difference whether its an import or a UK. in fact imports are more likely to need them, as its only 95 on that will need a cat test ;)
  22. sounds like a dead O2 sensor (or lambda probe ;)). the voltage should change which keeps the car in a "closed loop" mode, continually richening & weakening the mixture to maintain a level
